I was wondering what games you will try based on how much you got in your account! Is there a percentage you won't go over! Like if you got $20 how much will you risk? Or $100 etc.

With $20 you could play compression, I recommend at least $50, now if you consider yourself a relatively good player, you could play at 0.01/0.02 cash tables where the entry is $0.80 to $2, also MTT or SnG where the entry is the lowest (0.14-0.25) of course you will find a lot of registered players.
Also satellite tournaments where the repurchase is minimal and always focused playing, if you lose and are going to re-enter, do so as long as the BB does not exceed the amount of chips you will have (minimum 20BB). It's an analysis so that you don't feel so much pressure to lose your entire bank.
If you're losing a lot and you've lowered your bank by 25%, you'd better stop the game, rest for a day or two, clear your mind, study, analyze your hands with some program, comment on the forum (here we'll always support you and give you advice, and many of them from experienced professionals in SnG, MTT and cash tables.
If you want but not to lose your bank, play the freerolls and thus you are full of experience with respect to the variance, you are filled with patience with the bad beats.
Luck and success.

I see many people defining something starting from 100x. Some guys prefer 200x.

If you have $100, you can play $1 or $0,50.

It definately doesn't apply to me, lol. If I have $10, It's easy to me to play something like $0,30 sat till $5,50 mtt. I know it's wrong, but I can't resist. That's why I have set a buy in limit on my account. My limits are $5,50 to tt, $3,50 to sng, $4 for sping&go and 0,01/0,02 for cash. (and 0,50 max bet on casino).

I'm willing to say that you have to know your style and adapt yourself to it.

bankroll management is very important, don't miss the chance to control your money. GL

For example, my bankroll is $100.
I play three tournaments a day, $1.1 each.
So in general, I won't spend more than 3.5% of my bankroll per day. I believe that this is a reasonable enough calculation.
Good luck :)
