I love Rounders it is an ace film BUT....
The Johnny Chan story is JUST Mike LYING!
He sits down at the $300/600 with 10BB ($6000)...
He folded mostly...(so we should now assume he has less than 10BB but we'll give him benefit of the doubt)
Johnny Chan raises ($1800 min 3xBB)
Mike re-reaises with rags ($3600 if its a MIN RAISE!!!!)
Johnny comes over the top ($7200 if its ALSO a MIN RAISE?!?!?!)
NOTE: Mike now doesn't have enough to call without the dealer returning chips to Chan....
Mike hesitates for 2 seconds and re-reaises Chan with TOTAL AIR!!!!
Chan makes a move to his chips indicating strength when all he had to do was turn them on their back?? AND MUCKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!!!!!?????

WHAT A NIT!!!!!!!!I MEAN THOSE POT ODDS HAVE GOT TO BE GOOD LMAO!!!!!

;)
1,800 to 3,000 to 4,200 so he could have raised to 6,000 still.

Yeah. I don't know if this is preflop. However, preflop, this is a limt game mind you...

300 BB

Chan raises to 600

Mike re-pops to 900

Chan repops to 1200

Mike raises to 1500. Same result on flop.

Turn the bet is 600.

I believe that is how a fixed limit game is set up. I play $3/$6 once in a while.

I liked the movie a lot, think it's the best "poker themed" movie out there.

Netflix sucks. Just my opinion.

I tried the free trial, all the had was old movies, nothing new or good. If you want to fill up on movies from the 90s then Netflix is for you.

American netflix is not as bad as UK one and easily obtained through a chrome extension.

I have Netflix. I watched Memento on it about 2 months ago.

Awesome movie. Highly recommended.

I don't even know what movie that is. Is it new?

All I know is that when I tried Netflix, it was a HUGE disappointment for me.

It's from 2000. Netflix online actually has tons of new stuff, so long as you pay for it.

Maybe they just added it all recently? Dunno.

Memento is one of the earlier films directed by Christopher Nolan, who went on to direct blockbuster films like Inception and The Dark Knight. Memento is one of my favorite films of all time. I highly recommend it,
