I've been really upset after a lot of bad hands. What did I do?
I stopped playing and only came back the next day and just playing freerolls until I felt confident again to play for real money.

I play everyday with free rolls tournament even if i don't win i don't lose any of my money so don't put your own money in poker specially online i don't trust their programmes you can lose a hand of Aces easily . So always try to have fun while playing and start your budget with free rolls tournament.

you must always remember that after bad hands there will always be good ones) variance is of course very insidious, but you have to believe in the best and work on the game, and then there will be a result

What to do after so many bad hands?
The answer seems to change depending on the day and other factors.
Try not to become to dependent on results, focus on always improving and throw away the rear view mirror. No reason to look back...

It really depends what qualifies as a bad hand. I know it's easy to categorise them, but there's always a but. I have gone through loing streaks (tens of hands at a time) of 72, 94, j6 type and I just keep folding. I once got to the final table by playing less than 10 hands throughout the whole tournament. It's possible.

It's actually worse when you get a good hand and go all in and then someone beats your AA with a 93 off. And that happens after you could've won with tens of junk hands, all connecting with the board. Infuriating, trust me. I still can't get over them easily. Especially in a big tournament. It happened to me so many times that I just forget and move on.

bad

I see a lot of bad hands beat nice hands. sometimes when you have 9 players ant hand can win. Play the odds.

Yes, it can be very frustrating. But I try to remember that you don't need good cards to win a hand. If you've been sitting there folding your bad cards for a few orbits and the action is folded to you try and steal the blinds from late position.

To be honest you need to play the odds more often than rather wait just for AA and KK

My strategy is to just wait longer.

You can wait but to be honest it's better to play the odds than to just let your stack die out if you wait with blinds going up

You should never be upset and continue to believe in luck, I have a bad card for weeks, but sooner or later luck will return.

After a lot of bad hands, I stop the game and analyze it for 1-2 days.

Controlling your emotions is the key in this situation.
But it's easier said than done.
In my case, I always find myself entering tournaments or tables with a higher buy-in.
