Once cards aren't going well, I normally take a break. Sometimes it's frustrating, waiting for cards not to be cold. So I go make a snack, and have a nice hot drink. If I take my break, I'll break for like 4 to 5 hours. Then Sometimes cards change, and now you can go on a run.

I wait for a "top ten" and go for it. More bad I suppose.

Long runs of bad cards can be extraordinarily frustrating, but whatever you do don't start trying to force things to happen. Just keep playing your game, and you will soon find yourself in good situations.

Just gotta keep grinding and don't sweat it too much, we all have crappy runs from time to time. I think we remember the bad 1s more than the good ones. Just gotta get up if you fall, good luck and have fun

Shift gears, try to look more carefully, focus on the game and wait for the opportunity to play a good hand

Surely it is frustration, leave it for a few days for a few hours, rethink your hands and see where you can be failing, my husband leaves for a few days then goes back to playing and tries not to make the same mistakes as he tells me

Patience

There's no remedy, it's to be patient and wait for the best hand, and don't despair and wait, I've come to the best hand to play

in online poker, especially nowadays, i experience a much wilder variance - i know it is not just me. Patiance has limits, different by given individuals, but earlier or later everybody run out of it.

Take a break won't end bad beats, card dead periods, maybe reduce you turn into tilt mode, and save some of the bankroll.

Sometimes, it is me, sometime it isn't. Nothing, part of poker. I rarely stop because of that, as in my opinion it just delays the end of these runs...

We are not just waiting for good hands, if you do when you get a good hand everybody will know because of your previous inactivity.
You need to be looking for players capable of folding and go hard to exploit their passivity. Look for limpers and re-raise them, they are telling you they are weak by limping.
If you create a passive image people will exploit you.
Depending on who your villains are even 7/2o isn't a bad hand.
High fold v steal, and cbet stats are exploitable.
A player cbetting over 70% is exploitable, not all cbets are strong hands.

Not play the rest of the day. Wondering how much more would have been lost if I continued to play on a losing day.

Oh, my friend, I understand you perfectly.
The fact is that none of us can influence it.
This may be a one-time case, or it may be a downstreak.
The problem is that you can play correctly and still lose.
The most insulting thing is when you get out of the downstreak and you can continue to play normally, but you are already angry and in tilt because of past failures and you are already losing through your own fault.
