that c bet story was hilarious. I once bluffed on the river 2/3 my stack and the guy pushed me all in I had like 20 bucks left but I couldn't call or atleast that's what I thought. Come to find out he had squadoosh and I was still beat but if im ever in that situation again im calling regardless of what I think that guy has.

Nothing really, apart from the time that I saw an elephant juggling fish fingers whilst riding around on a unicycle....... although that might have been a dream.

I saw the scariest, most disgusting looking bug that looked like a giant mix between a potato bug and a centipede skitter across the floor and under the table I was playing at... *shivers* Mutant bug... Ugh.

When I was 19 I used to deal at an underground poker room. While on break (two dealers per shift and we dealt an hour, took an hour break and ran 12 hour shifts) a guy who was losing a ton of cash (I'm pretty sure the guy was a drug dealer) got really mad at a guy who busted him for like $300. They started talking trash back and forth and the "drug dealer" got up and pulled a gun out of his pants and put it to the guys head. Needless to say, the other guy shut up, and Dave (an off duty cop who used to run protection for the room) pulled out his gun and pretty much everyone hit the floor, me included. No shots were fired and the "drug dealer" left peacefully after being escorted out. I've never seen anything else that wild in a poker room and I hope that I never see anything that crazy again. That was years ago and I don't deal anymore, so I doubt I will since I only play in casinos these days.

This happened few months back while i went on a holiday in goa. Here poker is played on ship casinos...people have to take a ferry to reach there and play poker.
I saw a kid and his girlfriend (both drunk) who played at the ship casino coming out of ferry and as soon as they both came out the boy trashed his girlfriend and destroyed a car door with some alcohol bevarage bottle. I was just so angry of the incident and tried to intervene and give the boy a lesson, but before i could get there many others intervened and stopped the guy. Girl suffered an laceration on the forehead.
Later on police came and took the guy.
It happens that the girl made the boy use his fathers credit card at the casino for games and other things and he lost everything and he was so scared of his father that he went mad....

One odd story for me, I was playing at Ceasers in LV about 7 years ago at 5/10 NL game and I get dealt a pair of 3's. But the both where the 3 of Diamonds. The stopped the game…… There obvious some cheaters in the room. I cashed out and left at that point.

2/5 table ,
drunk guy cashes in for $500 , doesn't play a hand for about 15 min ,
there is a limp $5 , MD raises to $30, CO raises to $75 SB goes all in for $300 , action is on BB but hes fully asleep dealer is calling him but nothing , everyone is whistling at the guy but nothing , the floor manager comes and nudges the drunk and says , sir the action is on you , you are going to have to respond otherwise we have to muck your hand .

The drunk wakes up looks at his hand for about a minute and mumbles all in and falls back asleap.
limper folds , raiser calls and has drunk covered , 3better calls has drunk covered.
Flop 23K turn J river 5
raiser has JJ , 3 bettor has QQ , allin guy has AK , drunk after being woken up again by the dealer rolls over A4 and scoops a huge pot

Not sure if this is a weird thing. Was accompanying my boyfriend at a game and two guys to his left were heads up. I couldn't exactly hear what was being said because at that moment I left the room to grab a drink.

When I came back, one of the guys was carrying a chair and was about to hit the other guy with it. Fortunately, was restrained.

Let's call aggressive chair guy Player A and supposed victim Player B.

Player A had the supposed best hand. Player B had tossed his hand into the pile but just as the dealer was pushing the chips to Player A, Player B suddenly reached back into his cards and suddenly it showed that he had the best hand. He wanted to take the chips, claiming that by right he won because he had the best hand.

Player A: You mucked your cards!
Player B: No! I just put them face down. There's no line on the table to show that I mucked my cards.

Host got called in to settle the dispute. Unanimously agreed that Player B mucked.

Player A still gets his chips but he got pissed and started shouting that why would he want to bluff or con Player B. Started waving around his money to show that he can afford to play. I don't know what Player B did, but he aggravated Player A more and got a punch on the head as a result.

Player A left soon after.

Figured I would share personal degen story that happened to me a few years back.

Took a trip to Vegas with a bunch of friends in the summer of 09'. I was leaving the country for the next few years, so we wanted to have one last party before my temporary exodus from the group. Brought $2,000 for poker to be used over a 4 day spread.

Checked into the Wynn the morning of day 1, played the 2/5NL and after 6 hours was up $1,200. Played in a $330 at the venetian that night and managed to cash for another $1,200. At this point, when we went partying and crash late to end day 1.

Day 1 bankroll: $4100ish

Day 2, woke up early and played more 2/5NL at Wynn and proceeded to do well, after a shorter 4 hour session was up another $1,500 mostly thanks to a hand when I flopped the higher set my KK versus UTG's JJ on a board of KJ6. Spent the rest of the day hanging out by the pool, drinking, and chillin since only 2/4 of us are poker players. Besides, the goal after all was to hangout as a group and spend time together before I move half way round the world.

Day 2 Bankroll: $5500ish

Day 3 was when sh*t began to roll down hill. Everything was pretty much fantastic up til this part and iI suppose it was poor (alcohol induced) decision making that caused it. We started drinking pretty hard at dinner around 6pm or so. 2 of my friends wanted to go to a show, but I was feeling pretty drunk and just wanted to chill and gamble. They go off to see a show and me and my buddy stay and gamble. My friend decides that we should play blackjack (I should have objected and stuck with the pokers, but I figured whatever... I can afford to lose a couple hundo after my great run). I lose $300 in 15 minutes betting $25 a hand. I keep ordering more drinks and after about 1 hour of blackjack I'm $900 in hole(thanks to stepping up bets to get back losses), and so drunk I can't really play anymore. I decide to head back to the room to call it an early night.

I get back in the room and watch some TV, smoke a little green to level things out. It is at this point I become overwhelmed with a sense of horniness. After all, I'm in vegas and it shouldn't be hard to get a couple girls to come up and have a 3 some. I thought it would be cool to splurge after my poker winnings. I call up an escort service I find online after about 10 minutes of drunken web surfing. I order two chicks and they say it will be about 1 hour wait. Well, over an hour and a half later two girls show up (and not to my surprise look nothing like the chicks on the site). They were still doable and at this point I was very drunk and just finished off a joint, so I wasn't about to complain about the quality. Well, about 10-15 minutes in, I must have passed out, I don't remember anything after that point. I woke up at 10:30am with a raging headache and my best friend standing over me yelling that someone broke into our room and stole a bunch of sh*t. I hadn't put my cash in the safe when I returned (luckily my nikon camera and passport were locked away). Those bitches ran off with my entire roll, watch, my buddy's laptop (lol which was his work laptop), and they even took my electric shaver from the bathroom. I was speechless... All we could do was hurry to get the hell out of the hotel as to not get charged for an extra night. I ended up replacing my buddy's stuff over the course of the next few months feeling bad for what a dbag I had been. He was surprising cool bout the whole thing after I told him about the night. Guess that is what good friends are for.

Morning Day 4 Bankroll: $0, minus watch, minus shaver, minus friend's laptop

TL; DR version

went to Vegas with friends before moving out of country. worked a poker bankroll from 2k to 5.5k. lost entire bankroll (20% blackjack, 80% robbed by hookers), plus personal items.

Player at my local club won a side bet when he had his wife bring this in to the Club. Then he tried to sell it for $800 as he had just been stacked

I can't remember the exact cards but something like this happened at a table I was at in July:

2-4 limit

UTG raises

MP carelessly (I think it was carelessness since we didn't know him) looks at his cards and exposes them to MP1 and myself in MP2 position. He has pocket Aces. He re-raises it. We both fold.

BB caps it.

UTG calls

MP calls

Flop is like A Q 10

BB bets

UTG raises

MP folds, picks up his remaining chips and just walks off.

He actually would have lost the hand to Broadway since the board didn't pair.

When he folded, MP1 and I looked at each other in dis-belief. We got the biggest laugh at the end of the hand.
