I believe that weather conditions in no way affect my game. Weather conditions also do not affect my mood. Regardless of the environment, I always try to be positive.

when the weather outside is bad, the house becomes more comfortable and poker is more enjoyable because there is no desire to go for a walk )

As long as I fell comfortably (numb, lol) in front of my screen, I don't care if it's night or day (please don't tel me, lol), sunny or rainy, hot or cold. And if I receive AA, it's just like a sunny day anyway, lol.

In the winter when it is cold, snowy and icy outside, I stay in and play poker...in the summer when it is very hot outside, I play poker...in the spring when it is rainy, I play poker...in the fall when it is windy outside, I play poker...I do, however, limit myself to playing on days that end in "y".

ROTFLMAO!!

Hello everybody! How does your game look like when outside is a gloomy weather? Does it affect you somehow? In my game I noticed that I do not really focus properly and make stupid decisions when outside raining, for example. I was reading somewhere that it would be atmospheric pressure at those moments that affect us visibly. What do you think? Do you consider such phenomena when you prepare for the game? Thank you!

Sorry for the double post but that was hilarious. On the serious side. I don't think the weather affects my play at all. I usually make sure I am comfortable before playing, I eat fairly healthy and work out regularly to release endorphins and give me stamina and focus through long tournaments. I think the weather theory may also depend on where you live and what you are used to. I would expect someone from Seattle to deal differently with the rain than someone from Arizona.

ROTFLMAO!!

I actually had to google the ROTF part...glad you found it funny, because some jerk (finaltable1) thinks he knows me well enough from that one post to critique my life and what I have done for society. I guess he does not know what tongue in cheek humour is ...in fact, I think he lacks any sense of humour, but loves to try to appear educated, when his writing skills point to illiteracy.

I am going to guess that on a poker site, your moniker refers to "Cool Hand Luke" with Paul Newman...great choice; great movie...

I'm playing inside my house. There are no threatening clouds in the house. The weather outside doesn't affect my game in any way.

Personally doesn't affect me especially playing online and indoors but if you were playing outside which they do in some of the bigger live tournaments I could see it as a possibility.

I have never noticed a correlation between weather and game.

It is usually sunny where I live on most days around 34 Celsius. We get some rainy days in the second half of the year when hurricane season comes around. 28 Celsius is considered a cold day for us.

Poker rooms in casinos have no windows, so I don't know what the weather is outside. My buddy's basement has a tiny window covered with a curtain, so I cannot see outside. Besides, we play at night so it is dark.
The weather does therefore, not play a part in my game.

For some reason I've always loved when it rains. On or off the felt. I find it to be very soothing and relaxing :). I can't understand why people get so butthurt about the rain sometimes. It's awesome!

I do not think the weather should affect your gameplay at all

Maybe if its pouring rain outside and you get disconnected from online grinding

Other than that, I dont see rain or shine, I am focused and got my game face on

I do not notice any effect from the bad weather on my game. As far as i am inside and weather do not affect my internet connection it can rain whole day outside. As for the good weather - it affects me as much as i prefer to drink beer with friends outside during the summer instead of playing poker. :D

I do not think that the weather affects my game, it happens that I win in cash games or somewhere in tournaments in bad weather, and it happens that I lose everywhere in good weather, it all depends on the card in the game and how you play or bluff, maybe you noticed in the game that sometimes you can win on cards 2-7 3-2 and there are times when players lose on good AA KK QQ cards, -it’s all about how the card will play on the tables!

Yes in my case weather does come in to play. On rainy days I get headaches and can't concentrate. I am sure I am not the only one either!!

I think weather can definitely have an affect on your game!

For me personally, now that spring is here and the weather is nice, it makes me want to spend less and less time inside playing poker!:eek:

The only weather that effects my game is weather or not I am drinking. Full moon effects peoples moods so I guess weather may also, but the fact that you are aware of it should help.
