For me its the tournament. You need to beat many players to win and that is what is so special about it. But its easier, for me, to win money in cash games.

Tournaments are for small bankroll player

Cash games and Sit'n'Go are for huge bankroll player
Tournaments are for small bankroll players

Oh REALLY!

I guess everyone playing in the wsop $10,000 buy-in tournaments are just your everyday small bank-roll wanabe's or the Aussie Millions tournaments are just your typical small bankroll players ........ so funny

Just curious, where did you get this idea that a poker tournament is meant for small bankrolls? I really would love to know your source to this statement.

Most can be won and lost at the cash tables, but I prefer tournament games. It gives me great pleasure to play at the final table and to be the winner of 200, 300, 3000 people.

I enjoy the short table SnG. It runs at a perfect length during the weekday. Sometimes hard to find time after work to fit much else in. During the weekends a small field MTT suits me better. Save the cash tables for the casino now and then.

Winning a major tournament can be the beginning of a career. This is possible only in a multi-table tournament.

In the tournament, because of the increasing structure of the blinds, decisions are made easier. So at the end the game on postflop is much simpler.

In the cash game, chips are a substitute for money. The main task of the player is to get a large number of chips. During the consideration of the bet, the main criterion should be an understanding of the situation at the end of the race, this concept is also called "mathematical expectation". In the tournament, the main thing is to last longer in the game, because the place determines the prize payout.

depends on the stack

why not all 3? cash games tend to have an even return with slight ups and downs. tourneys never pay, but when they do, they pay big, and sit n gos a good way to find decent players to test your skills on. Should be doing all 3 if you wanna stay sharp for the day your up for the $179,000 final table.

All three variations I like:In tournaments last few appearances have serious problems to get to 5min. break!
In cash games I've won a lot of money!
Sit & go play rare!

think it's easier to make money in cash games than in tournaments, but I rather prefer play tournaments. I don't tournaments with long later registration periods and lots of rebuys too.
