Learn from poker guide, then start to play freerolls, then if you have good results there and experience start micro buy-in tournaments. Then if you have there too success then start to play bigger tournaments,if you earned there enough money, then go to play live poker tournaments.

Tips on how to become a professional?
To become a professional poker player, you need to constantly learn and improve your skills. Read books, watch poker tutorials or professional players' streams on Twitch or YouTube, or even better, if you have the money, hire a coach and your training will go much faster. Also, don't forget about the emotional component of this game, you need to try to be always calm and disciplined so as not to lose all your money and play only with your bankroll. You also need to take a break from the game and ideally go in for sports or something else to distract yourself from various thoughts related to poker. If you do all this, you will definitely achieve success sooner or later

Tips on how to become a professional?
It takes years of training to become a professional player. No exaggeration, years. If you are ready to dedicate 5 or 7 years to this business, then you probably have a chance. The main thing is not to give up and move towards your goal step by step.

My advice would be to be as professional as possible, like studying, watching professional videos, applying what you study to the tables and not worrying about bad results. If the decisions are good, because at some point that will change if you play well.

There is some good info above on this post, but I would like to add in some points.

To become a professional, you really need to be dedicated to the game. You need to dedicate yourself to study and be ready to constantly learn the game. You also need to dedicate significant time to playing the games. I believe it was Doyle Brunson who said, Poker is a hard way to make easy money. If you don't grind enough, you will never make enough to live on. You will also need to make sure you are in the right frame of mind to play the game. If you can't control your emotions, you will make more errors and throw money away. Last thing i would like to add is this, if you really don't love playing this game it may not be right to play professionally. The reason is yes you won't need a job if you're a winning player, but Poker becomes your job.

I recommend that you sign up for a poker team and get hired.
before that study basic concepts and play at least 500 games in tournaments or sng with that volume you will be able to join a team.
planning for at least 2 years to keep your head 118% poker, buy a good computer to run solvers because that's the only way you can evolve discussing hands, analyzing saved hands and watching classes from your instructors.
After joining a team, plan goals for game volume, raise limits, don't focus on money, money is an end result of your work during that time you planned (goals), have a reservation to play quiet poker, acquire PT4 software, HM work your game.
Outside of a team, I recommend that you study the basics of micros stakes, play a volume of 500 games and then invest in a coach who is good at micros limits and who teaches you to study solvers, PT4, etc., to be able to study alone. results start to come, don't withdraw anything from your bankroll, just try to increase the limits by studying and playing according to your bankroll. (If you make withdrawals from poker money, it will be difficult to become a profession with income!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

You need to understand that if you are already far from young, it will be difficult for you to become a professional poker player. All world poker champions have been under the age of 25.You must try to win, no matter what it costs you and work for the result.

Becoming a professional poker player is a challenging process and requires dedication, skills and a solid strategy. Here are some tips:

Study and Learn Constantly:
Spend time studying and improving your skills. Read books, watch training videos, and follow successful players. Poker is a game that is constantly evolving, and it is essential to keep up to date.
Choose your Specialization:
Decide which variant of poker you want to specialize in. It can be Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Stud or any other. Focus on a variant that will allow you to develop a specific set of skills.
Build a bankroll:
You won't become a pro until you've built a proper bankroll. Your bankroll is your financial cushion to survive streaks of bad luck. You should have at least 20-30 times the amount you plan to bet at your level of play. others recommend 100 times.
Play with Discipline:
Bankroll management is crucial. Set loss limits and avoid playing at tables with limits that exceed your bankroll. Playing with discipline is key to maintaining your capital.
Develop your Psychological Abilities:
Learn to manage your emotions. Poker can be stressful, and it is important to avoid tilt (frustration) and make impulsive decisions. Work on your self control and patience.
Practice Time Management:
Professional poker often involves long hours of playing. Plan your time effectively, set game and rest times, and maintain a balance between poker and personal life.

To begin with, the player must really want this, set a goal for himself and start moving towards it. The first thing he must do is master the basic knowledge. Choose the range of hands on which he will play, study all the positions at the poker table, the bet sizes that the player will make in different situations. After that, he needs to start playing a lot, and constantly analyze the sessions. As in any other business, in order to become a professional, the player needs to work hard. A professional must learn to feel poker and opponents at the poker table.
