When you lose because of your own mistake, it's easily acceptable. Oh, shouldn't have to do that. Ok good to know.
But when you've got bad beat & cooler, it's tilting you the most. When in fact, if you don't lose other then by that way, then you should just keep up the good work...

You can also look at like this. Having the best hand and getting out drawn is still a win. You had the best hand and with very little odds you lose the pot. Most of those you will win, that how we stay profitable.

Being to result oriented takes away from how you should approach the game. Easy not to tilt, when you are winning those type of hands the majority of the time.

Normally harder on mistakes than a suck out. That is something that bothers me more than anything.

only worry about what you yourself can control in game. Don't dwell or tilt about some whale hitting his 2 outer when you had them dominated.

dwell on the things you can actually control, ie= your game, the hands you play and how you play them, the decisions you make during a hand, the spots you choose to take.

The fact is the more you play, the better you will cope with tilt.

However, there is a difference between tilt and frustration or anger. I seldom let tilt affect me in any way. Further most of the time bad beats are something I can let go of. However there are days - a few days ago I suffered three ludicrous bad beats in a row where the villains played idiotic hands- where I let the anger out because it is the healthy thing to do.

Again, this is not tilt, my play is not affected.

But, venting in the moment and then somedays letting a particularly bad beat haunt you for some hours...I honestly feel this is healthier than trying to fake some zen-like state of being when all you are indulging is is repressing a natural frustration.

hello

you have to follow a gambling behavior in the long run it is more profitable to always trust your ability .. because luck is also there !!! And there are times that no matter how much you play the hand well, you lose ... the variance also plays, so you have to continue it is part of the game and the results will come !!!

In such cases, the best solution is to just take a break. Without a doubt, it is better to relax than to spoil your nerves and lose money. The break is free, so it's a decent option.

For me most tilting is when you are dealt shtty cards and even if you try to play with whatever crap you get you miss a flop 15 times in a row...

Tilt is terrible if you don't know how to cope with it then it will be very difficult for you in poker because of tilt I lost dozens of tournaments then I went to play high limits and could not stop tilt it is terrible you need to learn to control yourself that's for sure

My opinion is the same in cases where the results of games are deplorable: I think that this is due to the oversaturation of the game, so you need to take a break from poker for some period, for example a couple of weeks.

Yeah, human nature....you're more upset about making the right play and losing than just goofing up. Easy to say but hard to do to just know that you are making the right plays and they will pay off in the long run!

No matter how it develops during the game, in no case should you think about the slopes. It was and will be -that's what the game is for.But it is worth working on each of them-to do a full analysis of the hands played after the tournament.

For myself, I am more concerned about having made a mistake that led to my losing a hand than I am about someone outdrawing me. I don't tilt, but it does bother me.

I have been playing poker for over 10 years and during this time I have learned to control my emotions and not break my own rules. I just follow the bankroll management system and stay patient. Due to this, I do not have a tilt.

And I haven't learned to control myself, even though I've been playing for over 10 years, and the more I play, the more I hate this game.

I agree. You do go on tilt loosing to coolers and bad beats. However if the play was correct, you should be glad. It is very bad when you loose because you made a grave error.
