Is the payout structure always that bad or is this just something "special" (as in the Olympics) because of the double payout?

I know thats how the 100k always is (huge first level ITM), I think its just standard once it gets to certain # of entrants. Pretty crazy when you need to be inside top 5% to get more than your buyin back.

Stealing blinds and keeping the chip stack relatively stable, but I'm barely above average now. 956/2545 at the break and 2142 money though, but if I want to get a big payout I'm gonna need to pick up some cards in the next hour or two.
