My entire 200nl adventure to date.

Very pleased to have pulled back the first serious downswing and in the process I've plugged a lot of leaks (mainly postflop problems created by preflop poor decisions out of position).

Running at 2BB/100 with 3BB/100 very achievable I think.

Finaaalllllly. Finaaaaaallllllyyy. After being a bigger bum than ChuckTs for over 5 weeks (during which I played less than 1,500 hands), I've played some poker today. Only 900 hands unfortunately, but that's a start.
I intend to increase that amount significantly over the next days.

I've also begun opening up my game. I used to be a 20/16 whereas today I played 27/23 and I kinda liked it. We'll see how it goes, eh.

Hey Chuck, I know you don't need to play more hands coz your running so great atm, but do you think your not playing more than say you would normally b/c at the back of your mind your sort of expecting to run... errr you know what!

I know when I go on a decent run, I'm always thinking like 'shit I'll run bad tomorrow'.

It's the whole poker mindset thing - swings don't exist but in your mind. Play well and in the long run you'll profit. I know I'm playing well, and I know swings are always around the corner, but what's the use of worrying?

But ya, I can't say I don't think about that at all, but I'm getting better at ignoring the money and playing each hand as best I can. It helps a ton that I'm only on 4 tables (HINT HINT ).

What your all in ev like over this period?

And when you moving to 400nl?

And 400nl isn't for another 50k-100k hands at bare minimum Who knows, I might take shots though. No Liam stuff though


@your post above: ahhh the beauty of small 4bets. Amazing what you can get guys to shove...it just sucks when they start calling the 4bets and putting you in impossibly weird spots

Nice graph Chuck! May I ask what your WTS and W$SD are? My W$SD always seems so crazy low, but I don't think my WTS is particularly high
Oh, and maybe your WonSawFlop would be interesting. Will understand if you don't want to share those.

Here are mine, would really like to know how those compare (only 50NL+, all 6-max, 140,000 hands):
W$WSF = 43.5% (this is 44.6% for 400NL+)
WTS = 27.2%
W$SD = 48.6% (WTF?)

Not sure how accurate these are since they're only over 20k hands, plus I've been making lots and lots of adjustments lately:

w$wsf: 49.8
wtsd: 26.3
w$sd: 51.3

Ya, your won at showdown seems ridiculously low. I'm not big with showdown stats since I'm really only just getting into understanding them, but something's going on there. Couldn't tell you what :/

Yeah well, I don't really understand showdown stats either. It's just that most winning players have somewhere between 50%-53% and I'm consistently below that.

14k????? Saw he did 10k, but 14k is a shitload. But yeah, next few months or so I'm trying to challenge myself for grinding. The way I figure I'm going to need to put in a few 60k hand weeks over the summer too to cover the 10-hour weeks during baseball season, and that would involve several 10k+ hand days.

100NL FR is pretty damn soft I've been noticing, I'm hopin I can jump to 200NL next month sometime, but what do u guys think should i make a return to 6max sometime again?

Remember when you wanted to quit playing poker for "months" after going on tilt and losing some money at 50nl, and then I told you not to? Yeah, look where you are now!

But yea, 12 tabling 100NL FR has been goin real nice and I really have been better at tilt control.

Still dont know if I should try to 6max it up again though.

And why the hell do my NSD suck so bad now, i used to dominate them at 25NL 6max

It's probably because you're 12-tabling.

If you've got any doubts then just don't do it until you're comfortable. There's nothing wrong grinding out the 100nl tables until your roll is more padded.
