Here's my FOTD (flop of the day)
Domin had A7, which was good 'cause a 7 came on the turn. Got paid on all streets

All I had to worry about was QQ or KK catching runner runner. That's why I bet low on the flop...;)

I just got knocked out of that one too. That was right after I got knocked out of my $30+3 at bodog. Now I am left begging for crumbs at UB lol.

Hey Jagsti do you ever play live in Liverpool or surrounding areas and what games and where? I never played live before and Im down the motorway in Skelmersdale so if you know anywhere around would appreciate some info.

Thanks

Played a bit in Leo's casino in L'pool city centre and some games in Southport. The games mainly consist of £10 and £20 rebuys, but it's a lottery as the starting stacks and blinds are stupid.

There are some more casino's which I haven't tried yet and one due open in Southport soon.

Apparently the best games are at the Grosvenor casino in Bolton, but I haven't tried it tbh.

I can't shake the LIVE experience in Vegas. Since I"ve returned I've been playing lower stakes to bring back up my BR which were all winnings and used in vegas, but its just not working. I've seem to have lost all my patience in mtt's and I'm thinking way too much after learning so much here. I don't know how to get back to my 10$ buy ins I was doing so well in. I was ready for cash tables when I left and now I can't even manage a FT at 1$ mtt's:eek: This seems like a long time to be in a slump from July 7th and now its Sept..Maybe I should deposit a large sum and go back to 10$ I feel so lost:(

Grrr..poker sucks lol. I called a raise pre-flop - I had KK. He had 77. Got a 7 on the turn. That pot would have put me in 1st place. Now I am 31 of 77.

Just moved up to 100NL this month. So far so good, running at 2.28 BB/100 over 7800 hands and am $200 below EV. Loving how fast the FPPs are flyin in.

pokerstars has hated me so much for the past few months, it's getting insaaaane. the idea of playing for meaningful stakes on that site just scares me atm because i can't imagine what they'd do to me, playing 6/45s to try to work the doomswitch off. doomswitch. effing. off. please.

KK<87s aipf as i make this post, wtf

3.36 BB/100 at just under 13k hands. About ready for the 200nl jump, where I can then again run ridiculously bad and go back to 100nl to regroup. It's a fun cycle :).

Oh, that totally sucks. :( It's so frustrating to lose and feel like there isn't a win in sight. All you need is one good MTT showing, though, to get back on your feet. Keep at it, girl! I know you can do it!!

Post some hand histories, Aloe. Or send a bunch to people around here who like to look at them. Or swap them with someone and compare and contrast.

Y'kin send some my way, if you like, though I dunno if I have anything to swap as mostly I'm playing oddball stuff right now.

Cruising along at 5ptbb/100 so far this month, just cleared my $285 bonus too. I'm getting closer to finally getting a Stoxpoker membership!

Had a 3hr review on my vid before, still haven't finished. Talked through a lot of stuff, just trying to absorb it now though. Finishing the review off tomorrow, then I'll try to plug leaks imo!

Chuck how do you think the coaching is going. You enjoying it?

3 hr review on a 1 hr video!?

Coaching was going good when it was going, ie when I was actually making videos. Expecting an mp3 review tonight or tomorrow for my last vid and am in the process of making another one for review later. I can't blame anyone for the slow process other than myself for being lazy.

So far his advice has been great, but tbh I've only done one sweat and one video so far, can't judge him too much. If I were to say right now if I really liked it, I'd say $200 is mostly for his stoxpoker name/rep and not so much for his coaching quality, but I can't say it wasn't worth it. I'll probably extend it with him for a few hours, but I'll also be looking into 2+2's coaches.

As a side note: stox seems to be starting a series of FR videos with a coach I've never seen before. FR players should be excited :)

Good stuff mate, the coach I'm using is 2+2 but he's very reasonable. Some of them are real pricey to say the least.

Anyways, he's really thorough in explaining the so called leaks, and the thought processes I need to work on. So I'm looking forward to applying what I've been taught, and in a few weeks, we'll be doing some sweat sessions.
