Personally, I cant stand her! Did you see her at the 08 wsop main event? When she called for the clock on the dude who was deciding if he was gonna play what might be his last hand I wanted to push her off her chair onto her ass. LOL
I love scotty nguyen he is easily one of my favorite poker players but him not playing cash games that is a big surprise i would of thought he loved to grind out money from cash games. But it is true scotty nguyen is not the same scotty nguyen from a couple years back now he is not concerned about the money anymore. I also love how he donates a lot of his money to the people of vietnam and how he doesn't forget where he comes from. Good for you scotty.
Im still on the fence of wheter or not Scotty is a good guy, maybe good at being drunk, but hes definately a good player. If he doesnt need to play anymore with what Cherokee is paying him and hes not playing cash games and only tourneys then they cant have Scotty in their casino too much and Im thinking they over paid him just a wee bit.
Some people have morals and feel guilty. In an mtt this is never an issue your only taking someone's buyin from them if you take them out, your not taking much away from them your only taking there buyin away from them. same for sit and goes.
cash tables you can really hurt someone, as a Christian myself I debated long and hard whether poker is morally justifiable I don't have second thoughts or guilt for sit and goes and MTT's but when I sat down at cash tables and saw someone blowing $300 in the space of 15-30 minutes not through bad luck but through atrocious play I got concerned they may be sending themselves to the streets and kids if they have any may not eat I actually started explaining to them hand selection tactics etc bank roll management. You can't do that if you want to make a living from it and been a silent vulture feels so wrong.
