So I went to play some cash games and pulled up my realtime and it wont work on ub or ft.. So i delete it from my puter and reload it still willnot work. Is this because of the new upgrades to both sites or is it my puter? If anyone runs it can u tell me if yours is working or not.

Does anyone know of any other free huds out there have already used pt3 and hem trials and dont have money to buy one at the moment..thanx for your help in this matter:D :D

Yes, its because of the upgrades. The creator of realtime is not updating to keep up with the pokersites, it was good while it lasted. I don't know of any other free or trial huds.

Not sure exactly what features you're looking for in a HUD, but it's possible if you don't need the database and you are just looking for the current game stats, you could use something like Holdem Indicator or Tournament Indicator. They are just poker odds calculators, but they show the VP$IP, Preflop Raise %, Aggression level, and so on as well. I haven't used a odds calculator in years, but they work very well for some people. I just looked on their websites and they both have trials on those products, so they aren't free, but maybe worth checking out. Also, if you don't want to pay for anything out of your pocket, you might be interested in getting them for free off of your rake, I have known some people who have done that for PT3, HEM and various odds calculators, that way, you buy the product with your winnings essentially...

Realtime HUD problems at FT, need advice

I started using Realtime HUD a couple of weeks before FT gave me the "upgrade" that screwed it up. This upgrade screwed up not only datamining, but the HUD don't work at all.

I downloaded Holdem Manager free trial and I love it. Problem is my trial runs out soon and I don't have the funds yet to purchase. What I would like to do is use Realtime with the PT2 I have until I get the money to buy HEM.

Does anyone know how to get Realtime to work with FT again?

If not does anyone know if it still works with PS or bodog?

And finally, I'm thinking of starting to play at PS or Bodog again. Are there any members who have been here awhile and have an account at both FT and one of the other two who would allow me to tranfer a small amount of money(say $10-$20) and transfer to my PS or Bodog account?

Sorry about the run-on sentence, but my ADHD medication hasn't kicked in yet:).

FT's HH and chat format is in constant churn lately, whether from client improvements or their new found commitment to stopping datamining. HEM has been releasing updates every few days to stay caught up, so I'm not surprised a free HUD like Realtime is slow on the uptake.

Definitely try to get HEM, it's a great piece of software and a great investment that will improve your ROI if you use it properly (i.e. it will pay for itself in no time).

I don't expect it to be updated (have never had it working on U.B). From the Realtime site...

I have stopped further development on Realtime to work on the HUD for HoldemManager. The program still works and you are welcome to download it and use it for free. If you like it, you will like Holdem Manager more.

I don't expect an update as I was aware of this. I do like HEM a lot more, but don't have money for it at the time.

My guess there is no way to get it to work again at FT.

As for the new updates at FT, I kinda like the new HH and some other things, but not the datamining thing. I may just switch back to Bodog. They sent me an e-mail saying they have resizable tables now. I used to clean up there without a HUD anyway. Don't think I could do it now that I'm hooked on using it and multi-tabling more.

Which leads me back to the OP to ask if it works well with PS or preferably Bodog. I might as well play at one of these sites until I get the money for HEM seeing as how I have a hard time playing without a HUD anymore.

yea, that doesn't look too promising. Especially if he is already working on HEM's HUD.

So do they let you use product while you build up enough rakeback to pay for it?

If not,is it like a Kmart layaway:), were you pay on it until its payed off then use it?

Either way sounds cool, was just curious how that worked. HEM would be the one I would want.

Its like KMart layaway(I love the analogy). You have to earn that certain amount of point, example being 150 FPPs on pokerstars, and then once you do that, you have to email the HEM Admin and they will send you the Pro License code. Obviously, you can't already have an account at the site that you want to link it with.

Hold'em Indicator and Tournament Indicator are allowed at all major sites that I'm aware of, for certain at Stars, FT, and Cake. They allow software like this as long as it doesn't make decisions or suggestions for you. Cake is actually the most strict about any sort of "tracking" software and they're ok with it. I know Stars publishes a list on their website of approved/banned software and both are listed as approved, not sure about who else publishes such a list.

When I first started playing online, I signed up for SportsBook through their affiliate link to get a free copy of Hold'em Indicator. It was a great help when starting out to help you figure your odds and such, but it's really no comparison to a full-featured tracking/HUD software package like Hold'em Manager, which I now use.

All of the software I mentioned is allowed at all major sites, because like dmorris said, they are allowed as long as they dont make decisions for you. They just give you information from what is already given to you.

Shannon, if you are going to buy a program, I would highly suggest Holdem Manager or PokerTracker3 over paying for a Calculator. They aren't much different in price, and tracking software can do anything a calculator can do and SOOO much more. If you are going to just do a trial on them, that's fine, but I wouldn't spend money on one, personally

Ditto.

And not to start a tracker war because I know each have their loyal fans, but I used PokerTracker3 before Hold'em Manager, and IMO HEM is the better of the two, plus their support can't be beat with a stick. Both offer free trials so try them both and see for yourself. There are a few minor competitors out there, but honestly these two are the creme of the crop when it comes to tracker software.

I am right there with you. I started with PokerTracker to start as well, mainly because it had tournament support and HEM didn't have it yet, but I have since switched over to HEM and I think it is better by leaps and bounds, especially in the HUD and support areas.

I have never tried PT3, but I do have PT2 and PA HUD. The only reason I don't use these is I have a different computer and could only transfer the license for the PT.

I have to say I like HEM more than the other combination I had and will most likely purchase it.

As for getting it free, if I was to sign up with a new site I would be more inclined to sign up through a rakeback affilaite. This would definatly pay off more in the long run.

Is this true even if you didn't sign up through an affiliate? PS was my first account and I didn't know any better. I'm pretty sure I can't get rakeback there anyway.

I think my plan is to just grind out the $25 or so I have at FT and as much of the "biggest bonus ever" as I can within the next month and just buy it outright even if it leaves me with only $25 again. I feel retarted trying to play without a HUD anymore:rolleyes: .
