I would never expect to make a living from any form of
gambling, whether it is from Poker, Sports betting or even the stock markets, they all have the possibility of losing money, because there is no such thing as a "Sure thing" I once bet on a horse that was a "Sure thing" telling a friend I met in a bookies one day, sure enough coming into the final furlong it was 8 lengths in front of the second place horse and passed the winning post 12 lengths ahead. Only the wrong side of the post! The track it seems was used for different races and split just before the winning post and my jockey took the wrong line and forfeited the race.
Poker is no different, sure you can flop a great hand, making a full house or whatever, only to be hit by the turn and river giving your opponent 4 of a kind, it happens all the time once hitting a nut flush on the flop, my opponent moved all-in with 2 pair, I naturally called and Boom! The river card made his full house.
That's Poker!
