Yes, even very good players will need bouncebackability to recover from bad luck and being outplayed! One needs an intelligent, humble will to succeed in the long run!

Definitely yes. Weak people don't have anything to do in poker.

Poker is what you make of it, You can be a Bingo player shoving all-in with absolute Garbage, or you can be a patient player waiting for the right spots to take out the Idiots. I Stopped playing Soccer and Rugby many years ago because for those games you need to be Strong and Physically Fit.
Now at the Ripe old age of 68, Running around chasing a ball around for 90 minutes is way out of my League.
Poker can be played by any one, I have seen players in casinos in their 80s still playing, even disable players in wheelchairs, so strength of character is the only strength you really need.

Actually poker is made for mentally weak, impulsive gamblers.

But if you decide to play you better should be mentally strong.

I was playing our forums Bronze freeroll today, and finished 10, 1 place before final table with more or less average stake because i lost concentraion, was in alt+tab and impusively called 77 UTG all-in with A9s LOL

Strong in what sense?... mentally? in his habits? in his discipline?... a professional poker player must be strong in at least the 3 characteristics that I mention.

I agree that poker is played by strong people after all, one poker tournament takes at least an hour and a half so if you are not strong, you will not take first place

I believe that mindset is crucial once you have a solid understanding of the game's fundamentals. Avoiding frustration or becoming upset when things don't go as planned, and not becoming overly excited when things go well, is essential.
It's also necessary to manage money well beyond emotions. In conclusion, I think anyone can play poker, but people with a strong mindset are likely to achieve better results and avoid unnecessary problems.
Additionally, there is a significant difference between playing as a hobby, where things can be taken more casually, and dedicating yourself to poker, where you depend on your results. In the latter case, I find it extremely challenging, and without a doubt, you have to be tough.

when you have a bad time.
but overall in the long term it will be very consistent.
