Poker - hobby or profession?

As far as I am concerned Poker will always be a Hobby, although I used to be passionate about the game playing on-line almost everyday and running a weekly pub Game for a local Pub, We had a Redtooth Poker League game and the buy-ins were all paid out as prize money but more importantly you could win a seat in a Real Casino game where the Winner won a seat in the Vegas 100, A yearly event that saw 100 players being flown out to Vegas to play for a Huge prize money event and be crowned as League champion for the whole Year.
It was a great way to introduce players into a Casino environment, which personally I enjoyed, and started visiting Casino's more frequently, I always thought they were gaming establishments for the Mega Rich.

Right now, poker is a hobby for me, but in the future I would like to start playing professionally and make a living from it. In general, I have been playing poker for 14 years, of which for several years I worked as a dealer in various poker clubs and even worked as an administrator for a short time. I know this game from all sides and I like everything connected with it. So far I have only played in Ukraine and Moldova, but I would like to play in Europe and, of course, in the USA. I hope that in a few years I will be able to realize my plans).

An answer exists in my conscience, poker for me is a profession, because in my opinion there is no hobby in losing money or winning. The hobby is a free event, where you have fun and don't lose money.

I play poker as a hobby. I only play online and in freerolls. As I play as an amateur, if I played with my own money this could be a big risk for me. I prefer to have fun rather than take risks.
