Just came across this classic documentary from the 1998 wsop.

You could tell throughout the tourney that he was on form. When a player is confident and is getting the cards, how can you beat them?

I watched both documentaries and the Million Dollar Deal is one of the best poker documentaries I've seen in ages. So many different personalities it's so different to what pros look like now with their workouts and meditation (like in 10 for 10). It was worth watching for the traffic cone story alone, his remorselessness had me howling!

Classic isn't it - just pure poker. Not one iphone or hoodie in sight. Great bunch of characters back then.
