Has Poker Changed much? I think compared to 5 years ago, the game is very different.

I am not sure how much it has changed in the past five years, but it has certainly changed dramatically since I started playing in the pre poker boom era. For the first ten years or so playing poker, like between 1998-2007 or so, all you had to do to win money was just play tight. That was it. Just sit back, wait for premium hands and profit, Gradually new thoughts entered the poker consciosness and through the power of the information age, new and better ways to play the game came out. I wish I had a time machine and could go back to playing poker in say like 2005. Easy Money.
