From all these books I only have heard Super/System: A Course in Power Poker by Doyle Brunson added to the one I knew since before ,Daniel Negreanu Power holdem:D . Ok, I found a site that sells a few translated to greek poker books so I intend to buy for the beginning the two volummes of super system but first of all the three volumes of Harrington on Hold’em , Dan Harrington the best of all:cool:

Im not much of a reader, but still have enjoyed most of the autobiographical based books that Ive come across.

Is still believe CC based forums are the go for getting the best advise and info and its always upto date and with the times.

Moder Small Stakes

Have you heard(or may be read) about a book called "Modern Small Stakes"?
What is your point of view? (I have read only Crushing The Microstakes).

I do not have much experience in poker books I am currently reading The Mental ending Game of Poker. Written by (Jared Tendler, Berry Carter), and I find it very interesting and educational think we should all take this book to find time to gain knowledge of poker.

The best books for those who want to learn poker. (In my opinion) :D

10. Every Hand Revealed by Gus Hansen (2008)
9. The Body Language of Poker (a.k.a. The Book of Tells) by Mike Caro (1994 Edition)
8. Poker Essays by Mason Malmuth (1996)
7. Hold’em Poker for Advanced Players by Mason Malmuth (1993 Edition)
6. Winning Poker Systems by Norman Zadah (1973)
5. Winning Low Limit Hold’em by Lee Jones (1994)
4. Hold’em Poker by David Sklansky (1976)
3. Harrington on Hold’em, by Dan Harrington (2006)
2. Super/System: A Course in Power Poker by Doyle Brunson (1978)
1. The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky (1994 Edition)

who want to indicate more books for our friends , let down more options.

I have read "Power Hold´en" of Daniel Negreanu and it is very nice too with the full explanation about small-ball strategy and other invited players providing some good tips for specific subjects, etc.

Yes

In my opinion too The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky is the best poker book, but now, in this time the game change very much.

These are all great books. My recommendation would to pick the ones you want to start with and take your time and really understand what you are reading. Do not over whelm yourself by reading 5 books and then trying to play like you are the next kid poker. Good luck

My favorite reads were by far Phil Gordan's books. Granted these were read at the beginning of my playing. His way of presenting for a new player was wonderful.
