i do believe patience is very important in poker. many hands are lost or not optimized by players that are not patient enough to extract as much out of a hand as possible.
I believe that after you work the whole technical part of the game, you also have to work the mental part, and for sure patience is part of it, as much as you are doing everything right, the variance sometimes harms your game, so having patience is fundamental.
