I have to admit, I have played a lot more on-line since the first lock-down back in March 2020, I used to run a game at my local Pub every Tuesday night but got tired with it so Gave the reigns to a younger lad to run it and went along after a short break just to relax and play.
I was one of the people that thought
pokerstars was rigged but I have to say after watching a few streamers on "Twitch" and following players like Lex Veldhuis, Richy Rob, Pyeface and others I came to realise that it is nothing to do with Pokerstars, It is all down to Poker Variance's.
Sure you have bad beats once in a while it happens to the best of us, but once you realise that! you can dispel all the conspiracy theories and get on with playing the game. I have had just as many bad beats playing in live games as I have on-line. The only difference is It seems to happen more on line because you are playing more
hands and more games, so of course it is going to happen more often.
Playing live I would play once a week, sometimes if I was lucky twice, but online I could play 10 or 20 games every day, So obviously I would have more bad beats, It make's common sense, Once you accept that it is Poker Variance and nothing more you can play better and win more often, I know because I do.
When the fun Stops, STOP!
