Pair of 99 or A10?

I would take the 99 over ATs anytime. 9's are a made hand and the AT needs to improve to win most times. 9's are also easy to get away from on the flop if needed many time. If the flop is AKQ i can fold to a bet and not feel to bad about it.

I think 99 is an adventurous hand compared to A10.
For A10 you must hope to have an As or 10 in the flop

It is clear that a made hand of 99 in an allin is better than an uncompleted A10 of different types. But a lot depends on the situation at the table.
