Hello there so first off let me say that I have been visiting this forum frequently in the past year and I decided to join and finally make my first post. The reason I took so long is that I feel like I wouldn't be accepted for the fact is that I am a 17 year old poker player. So I decided to ask you guys and/or girls,
What is your opinion about underage players?
Let me give a little background on myself in case anyone was wondering. Back in 2003 Chris Moneymaker won the wsop Main Event and made poker mainstream. So of course my dad and his friends for the next couple years started playing online and had weekly poker games like many people did. Thats when I started to enjoy poker and understand the game. Fast forward 8-9 years, Poker is starting to come back into my interest after watching shows and movies about the amazing game. So I start playing homegames with friends and family then I moved on to playing play money games on Full Tilt and pokerstars since I knew that at 16 I couldn't play for real money so I decided to get practice there and I built a roll up on those sites for fake money for the past year playing on and off because nobody can take play money that serious. I have watched many videos and study the game a lot. A couple weeks ago I put a minimum deposit onto BetOnline mainly because they are the only one to accept mastercard anymore in the US. I'm just trying to play the game I love right now even if it is at the micros. I have a job and I'm in my last year of school so whatever time I do have I use it playing at the tables. After I graduate I want to start playing full time and get on the grind. The dream is to make a living off doing something you love right? I'm just a kid with dream so if the dream comes true expect to see me at the 2018 WSOP Main Event (That's when I'm 21).
Thanks for reading and I am open to all opinions <3
