Online or Live

Online is fun and all but a person cant really get a good read on someone as opposed to live. What do you think?

i've played both and prefer online. just the comfort of my own home mostly.

i enjoy the day at casino more than online,online is great for those times when casino trip isn't possible-i enjoy live way more than online

Yea, I like live poker more. I go to Atlantic City, Foxwoods, Sands n Sugarhouse

If I had the time to play live, I'd play live every single time. However because time is scarce I play online.

My local casino was only spreading 5-10 Limit poker and higher until recently when they finally adopted 1-2 NL so I'd much rather go there and play that versus playing online. However, the casino is 30 mins away, they generally only spread one table off-peak and the wait list is usually pretty long. So as much as it pains me I play online as my poison of choice.


Online tells are a plenty just like they are in a live environment, you need to do your research on your opponents and recognizing what those tells are, but online they are out there as much as they are live.

play 1 live stud game,2 live nl holdem 2 times a week,play online each and everyday,is more fun to me because then it becomes tells and reads baby.....seem to be able to bluff alot eaiser when its green in the middle baby

I really like to play live, to feel my opponent. In online games I can not do that. In the area where I live I do not have much to play, so I'm forced to play online.

Yup in normal game you can't see yours opponent's face, tnis is not so good cuz in face you can see the emotions and thx to it you can better predict what should you do atm

I play online and sometimes with friends at home, I do not have a casino in the city and I have to play only online, but I would like to play poker in a live casino or a good live tournament!

You learn the play and what they do yes your not looking at them but you still read them. You play so many more hands you in the end catch there tendencies much faster
