can stars just give proper fpps for hu plz? I would actually move full time.

It does actually suck hardcore when you run real bad tho, so i can see what vanq is saying. When i initially started it i was up $1k extremely quick and thought HU was a godsend and then dropped $1k in the same time period when i literally could never catch a hand and whenever i did catch a hand that was good enough to go with villain always had the nuts. And there is precious little you can do when you are getting beaten up in HU and your image is terrible and you can't flop a pair to save your life. And the VIP is lol, i've completely given up on even making goldstar this month...so hello 5-7% rakeback if i continue playing it.

Still, it is fun for now :)

HU ring is pretty much about being a huge baller and not caring about the winnings or running bad. I don't think I'm at that point now.

I play HU ring though, and im not balla and do care about wins and losses :(, maybe thats why i tilt so badly when it all goes completely wrong. Although i'm back to playing HULHE for a bit, i will be the next hoss_TBF dammit.

Got in a session today (a winning one at that)!

GOAL ACCOMPLISHED. I can't believe I did it. Previous high was 13.7k hands in a month , now that is SHATTERED.

I'm purposely not buying that game so I don't get hooked. rpgs, or whatever they call them nowadays, just get me too involved. I can't start a game without finishing it and collecting every little item.

Reached gold ironman level on FTP today. That's a first.

Maybe I can reach GoldStar on PS this month too, but that's gonna be a bit challenging.

That's just crazy! I can't even imagine getting over 100K hands. I'm lucky to see 500 per day. LOL

YAY, I've been goldstar a few times before, never even came close to it playing nl$50. Its amazing the difference my new monitor makes for multi-tabling. Only took 20,300 hands :) Running at just under 5bb/100.

Dear tenbob,

Congratulations! You have achieved GoldStar VIP status.

Your VIP level lasts for the rest of this month and all of next month.

I know what you mean, i havn't even been goldstar for ages since playing HU (mainly due to playing like 4 hands a month but w/e) The problem with the stars system is that a lot of nl pots are won preflop and the ones that play a flop are capped at .50 rake so you only get 1 vpp. Also if your playing 100nl, a standard button raise and c bet on the flop that takes down the pot, won't earn you a vpp which is kinda lame. HULHE however is much better, since ~85% of hands see a flop, at 2-4 your earning a 85 vpp's/100 hands, which is pretty neat

Well, I'm not going to hit my 10K hands goal this month, but I'll still work at.

Not much has happened in last 3.5K+ hands, I'm pretty much even since the last graph. Still running at a decent bb/100, but my stats haven't really changed. I know its probably due to me 24-table since I played super nitty and it probably hurt my stats. I wouldn't mind getting my stats just a bit higher. Maybe 15+/12+
Anyway, not much to brag about. Just updating.

Well wasn't this month just a big fat swinger's party. Still, 20k hands and a $4k profit is nothing to sneeze at. Now to repeat - or outdo! - that feat in November.

I love sessions like these. Off to dinner then got some work to do. Maybe another session tonight but tomorrow should be free for me so I plan on playing at least 5-6k hands if not 8-10.

Reached gold ironman level on Full Tilt Poker today. That's a first.
I've been at gold status for a week.... Is it harder to reach gold status playing hold'em than it is stud? I've also cleared about 280$ in bonus...

I was mixing FTP and PS this month, so only did 100 FT points days, and it takes 25 of those to get gold ironman.

I'm not sure about at FT, since I don't play there, but you rake in the VPP's playing stud games at Stars.

Yeah, its the same way at ultimate bet. Maybe they try to promote alternative games? But then again, I don't rake points playing omaha. I suppose its just the ante structure.

And yes, I'm aware it takes 25 days of 100 points to reach gold status. I was just wondering if its harder to obtain points playing hold'em. Wasn't trying to gloat like "OMFG, I PLAY MORE RAKED HANDS THAN EWE PER MONTH!!`"
