what about double or nothing sngs?

but arent you playing for like 4% roi which means you are looking at a win% of like 54% or something. Seems like there would be a lot more variance there

Getting used to the swings of 6-max is hard. I haven't gone on a bad run yet only dropping 2 or 3 buy-ins in a sesion but usually coming back, but my graph looks crazy.
At FR it was a steady up curve with the odd dip. At 6-max it's a yo-yo with the dips being slightly higher each time. Especially hard with my recent jump in buy-in.

well MTTs you can play for a 200% ROI, doesn't mean they're low variance

maybe it depends what "type" of variance, i dunno. like it might be easier to have a long breakeven streak in double or nothing SnGs than in cash, but it's probably a lot harder to have a big downswing in them. i.e. your risk of ruin is much lower

Been running pretty well the last couple of months. This is 8 tabling full ring, mostly 25nl with a few sessions of 50nl, and one or two games at 10nl with Pooffy and Co.

Comments? I think I'm stealing/3 betting a bit much from the small blind.

Thanks guys. I think maybe I've found a sweet spot, for me, for 25nl FR. In the 50nl sessions the PFR and steals are higher because the opponent's don't flat quite as often.

And being a family guy, 3 one hour sessions a week is about all I can work in most of the time.

I haven't made money in monthes...this is so sick...I had the best hand when i went out in 7 of the 9 SNGs. I don't know what to do, I have to drop levels again. I can't take this anymore, I've been at 150-170 for the past 3 monthes.
