Hey guys...

I came across a weired situation the other day..not sure if the betting was right...maybe some of you guys may help me..

I had about 370 chips..

blinds were 10/15

five players in the hand...

A posts small blind 10
B posts big blind 15
C raises to 65
I call 65
Player D raises 185 to 250
A folds
B folds
C calls 185
I was given the option to call 185, Raise(305)to(370
i raised to 370 and went all in....
I assumed that since i did not make a Valid raise (i had to call 185 and then raise by another 185 which was the previous raise but did nt have sufficicient chips..ie 65+185=250 plus raise 185 i had only 120 remaining)...player D should not get the option to raise...
but he did get the option to raise......which is not right

wld appreciate any help from u guys on this hand..was i right in my assumption..or was i mistaken

I have noticed the same thing.

I think it happens when you have more chips than the person that makes the raise.

Even though others with more chips are in the hand, you are limited to the number of chips that the original raiser has.
