I choose MTT's for their huge prizes, but cash games are more stable.

MTT in my opinion..in cash game if you run hot you just double your buy in or something...but in mtt you go for big money and i love that adrenaline when you run deep :D

I would advise going for Zoom tables and play very tight with very strong hands. Once in a while you will get a tilted player or a player with the second best hand or even some unexperienced player trying to bluff on you and you double your money every time.

This is the strategy of the players that you will notice have over 10 times the max buy in every time you see them in the game.

MTT and cache games are quite different things, in the cache game does not work what works in MTT and vice versa!

I prefer more MTT than cash table because i feel more good playing a tourney, you can lose all your bankroll in one cash table but in a MTT you can not lose a lot of money, for example when I play tournaments I do not use the rebuy option

I'm trying to properly manage my bankroll I built from scratch
yet I abuse rebuy if I can because the goal is to win the tournament.
For that we must of course make tournaments at the height of our bankroll.
When you have 100 you do not have to worry about rebuy 0.50
and when you have 10K you do not care about rebuy 10 the pressure is on other players who take less risk because they do not want to lose.
I would hang different decisions if I could not rebuy.
Sometimes the 1st place itm refund my recaves and addon.

to a very big difference between MTT and cash game, mtt the range of hands to play is different from cash, cash is played very pos flop, cards connected as 89s 34s have a big cash value, and MTT they can take out the tournament! the tip I can tell you is, many players who do well in cash game when passing to the MTT get on very well and make a lot of money, because they know how to play a post flop up the river! ja tournament players when they play cash do not do well at the cash tables!

Well first step to win better in cash games is to observe your opponent carefully. In most micro and medium tables you will see most players play with a "specific" pattern and style. NO doubt everyone has their specific style of playing but priority here should be to be able to dodge them and start to look for ways of how to extract chips of them with a clear strategy in mind. Moreover, here the buy in amount matters too. If someone sits with 50-100 big b's it would be tougher to extract chips of him then a guy who sits with 20-30 big b's.The key here is you are going to play with same people in cash game over a session, this means you must "understand" and "study" their each move carefully. In tournaments, its quite not the case since the blinds are constantly increasing and so does the players keep changing, but in cash games priority must be given to spotting loopholes of your opponent which only comes by constant observation and study.....

Excellent points here - Cash games have the same players for most of the session, whereas MTT's are always changing players. In cash games you generally have time to get a better understanding of your opponents and can decide whether or not they have enough leaks to make you a winner. If you accidentally sit at a table full of skilled players, you can bail without losing your bankroll. Go looking for the fish at another table.
