Tournaments give a chance for a larger payout (if you can run deep).
The thing with cash tables (for me), is that I tend to build a stack, and then I catch a primo hand and get crushed for the whole stack. So, I think the thing to remember here, is to leave the table when your stack is double, and start over again, with original buy-in amount.

I am totally in agreement, when playing cash games buy-in for the maximum allowed as you will find that low stakes may let you buy-in for 80 cents as a set low limit but the maximum will be around 2 dollar,s higher stakes of course allow bigger buy-ins

Also be sure that the maximum is less than 100th of your bankroll because this is the one thing you should always protect.

Having a bad day means you can always come back and fight again another day

You must choose the format of the game yourself. You need to rely on how good you feel in each of the poker formats.
I play mostly in tournaments, although I find this format more volatile than cash games. On the other hand, Sit & Go and Spin & Go are even more volatile than tournament poker.

Poker format

Personally, I think the most profitable format is online poker, since in MTT tournaments, the player is usually charged 10% of the cost of the tournament, plus when playing in cash, the poker office also charges a lot of rake.

Obviously NLHE Tournament is more profitable.

Cash games are high risk for me. Don't know about others

I think to increase this for a cash game, since the office very quickly collects rake from poker hands.

I think the way to look at this is- "How do I maximize my hourly earnings?". This may be some combination of MTTs and STTs or cash and MTTs or etc.

I definitely think NLHE Cash games have the lowest variance and the weakest player pool. Learning how to beat these tables is a great start to building a nice bankroll.

MTT's are the best for me, because Sit n gos have large player base that specialise and often practice just sit n gos - MTT's have much larger variety of players.

You could pick a cash game but only if you know exactly what you are doing. If you are a starter, I strongly suggest small player pool MTT's or very low buy-in Sit n gos.

It depends what are you looking for.
Cash game is fast you can win or loose a lot in a few hours.
Tournament I like more. You invest just the buy in and if you go deep it better it gets.
As high money you play and high you win. Same risk.

juego mas rentable

Hi. For me the most profitable game is the MTT, because I have little money in my bank. the most profitable cash are those with the highest buy-in. micro cash tournaments to be profitable you have to play many hours.

What are you good at? Playing deep stacked and making critical turn and river decisions? Or playing short stacked and playing critical shove/fold/call/rejam decisions? If the former play cash tables. If the later stick with SNG's or MTT's. You will be most profitable in situations you play best at.
