lol did 50 $100 PLO flips with this one FTP reg on Stars so I could keep nova. Won 25 lost 25. Then we did tiebreaker and I won. Too bad I was still down over $100 after rake lol but worked out that extra vpps = $800 so definitely worth the money plus it was fun .

lol yeah no cash flips, max you can get is 1 vpp while each $100 HU sng flip I got 25.

OK, Stoxpoker members:

Through trulyfreepokertraining, I qualified for a whole WEEK of membership to Stox, through 5/8. With my real life, this is all the volume I'm able to put in. Looking for some video recommendations. I play 25NL FR. I'm pretty comfortable with my preflop game, I run at 14/10, but I fold too much postflop and give opponents too much credit. In need a lot of help in that area.

Any suggestions?

All the vids by James SplitSuit Sweeny are good FR specific vids. Anything by Ed Miller is always great. That should be more than enough.

Thank God. I tried to play last night but the tables kept dying and I finally gave up after 400 hands. Never did have 8 full tables running.

the thing is, right now the only way to play at deep tables is to start them. Or play 100nl FR where i started nearly all (6/7) those that are running at the moment. But it should get back to normal pretty soon.

In an effort to bend time into a more comfortable position, this thread should have been named 'Slo Mo May, with other slurred speech, Chat'.

While I didn't fulfill the March goals the way I intended, I did achieve the numbers I wanted, Same with April, so I start May with both Stars and Tilt rolls above $200 for the first time in many months. My goal for May is to double the rolls for the third straight month and not let the insignificant other know. Had she been kept in the dark before, I would not have felt forced to withdraw most of my rolls for mere living expenses, and might easily be at 4 digits in each case.

In other words, what she don't know, won't hurt me!

A little confuzzled about 100nl, I think its too early for me to take a shot tbh as I have only played 40k hands @ 50NL beating it at 2.3BB but take out my first failed shot and I am 3.24BB/100 over 33k hands.

Is the sample just far too small to consider shot taking with 30BIs?

Yes. When you filter by stake, all the tables of the same stake are together, normal, deep, cap, ... You need to filter by type to separate them, but nobody does that of course, at least not the recreational player who have no clue about the difference.

Now it's back to the usual war between good regs starting deep tables and shortstackers starting normal ones.
