So I go to casino Rama today at about 11am this morning, playing at a 2/5 table.

Start off with full BI obv at $500. Table is...decent, still early but its a sunday so a considerable amount of fish.

After about 2 hours im chipping up and taking down a few small pots, had a set of QQ which was nice.

Now the awesome hand between me and a lag asian guy (LAGAG)

Me:$720
LAGAG:$700

(AcAh)
I raise to $25 which is standard for the table, lagag is directly on my left and he raises me to $50, everyone else folds.

I raise to $150. He calls.

Flop is Q72 rainbow. I donk bet $100 into a $300+ pot. Lagag shoves for about $550. Within a few seconds I say "I call".

He turns over KK. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Turn and river blank. Proceed to scoop $1400+ pot.

After close to 6 hours I cash out for $2150 total from my initial $500 BI. Sick life.

I'm leaking so much money this year, I may as well just put all my bankroll in a bin and set fire to it.

I've literally tried everything to get out of this slump. I even went and tried SnG's again wtf! If I hadn't have had a decent year last year, I certainly would have given up poker by now, just from playing these last 3 months alone!

Just keep betting, they will fold.

I am and they are.

Up until AK < A4 vs a shortie and AK < KK vs a TAG :(
AIPF both tho

Well I took a month break from Stars.

I have some days off in general, but no prolonged breaks as such.

go to a euro site and play some .5/1 6max or some heads up or something. you're good enough to be +EV in those games

sigh 6max is tilting :)

up a buy in back to 0 up a buyin back to 0
results orientated and such but meh.

I ran 2 big bluffs and twice they snap shoved in my face. And by big I mean in BB terms.

I don't know if I like it. It's swingy so you get up fast but you also go down fast. I dno. Maybe I need some help first.

you realize that "up a buy in back to 0 up a buy in back to 0" is not swingy and should certainly not be tilting you, right? you'll probably see something like ~8 buy in swings pretty regularly if you play pretty loose, maybe something like 4-5 if you're playing tight (per session, assuming you play a decent number of hands in your sessions). heads-up has more swings, and you will regularly have -10 buy in or more days simply due to the nature of the game. if you don't think you can handle 2-3 buy in swings in ur sessions, do not play 6max. i guess fullring has the smallest swings and is more for you

I guess it's not that swingy then, although it felt like it in only 300 hands.

I haven't decided what I'm gonna do yet. I guess it was a bit more fun to play and there's more thinking involved and possibly the possible profits are greater too.

I just don't know anything atm, I'm in limbo.

if you're trying to become a better poker player and learn more theory, i would say you should play either 6max ring or HU ring. if you just wanna make the most possible $, you can grind a ton of fullring and make $ in rakeback and basically nut-mining.

You didn't ask "what range do I beat".

You're smart enough to know we're thinking in ranges. The wtf do I beat implied I was asking what the **** range do I beat?

edit: reading that again it seemed kinda harsh, I only put the **** there because I needed to completely write out my acronym. Probably should have added a few smilies :):):):):):):)
