But only in the state casinos.
We used to have many pokerrooms in Vienna but the state didn't renew their license so now I only can go to the Casinos austria which unfortunately have a very poor offer of pokergames 🙄
Playing almost only online since then ....

I am from Ukraine, and in our country poker is officially recognized as a sport. Of course, this does not allow entrepreneurs to open gambling clubs anywhere, but nevertheless, in my country you can play online quite legally.

Our rules in the UK are fairly relaxed so you can play in a regulated environment like a casino or play home games and even in public places like a pub although the prize pools and buy ins are limited in a public place which isn't regulated.

In the UK. The prize pool in any unlicensed event cannot by law exceed £100 therefore if you have 20 players each buying in for £5 it should by Law be limited to those 20 players, However there are times when we exceed the 20 player maximum and some times had 3 or even 4 tables going, with up to 8 players a table all buying in for £5 each. I did once host a poker game where we had 5 tables of 8 players, Each buying in for £10 and we ran it like a Bounty Hunter Game as a Christmas Special, but that was a one off.
Cash Tables however are illegal in every Pub, they do happen but it still doesn't mean the are are Legal. the only place you can take part in a Cash game is in a Licensed Casino,
We ran a legitimate, game in our local Pub and one of our regular players was a Police Sargent, and he once said the Police had bigger problems than busting a £5 Poker Game and as long as there was no trouble, from the players, (fighting etc) They wouldn't be pressing any charges on us.
Follow the KISS Rule (Keep it Simple, Stupid) and you cannot go wrong.

Besides on line, almost every casino in canada offers poker cash games (tax free of course). There are tons of private cash games all over the place. It's all about who you know. Some of the private games have great perks: Free food, free alcohol of all kinds. These of course are non legal, they never seem to get bothered. Sometimes they are on the native reservation and the authorities would never go there.

Excellent question. A couple of years ago casinos in Venezuela reopened, before it was illegal, now you could say that they are more flexible. I haven't been to play in one yet, but it's in my plans to experience poker face to face.

All these restrictions do not bring anything good, both for players and for rooms. For me, there are no problems playing poker, there are more problems with depositing/withdrawing money, commissions, exchange rates, and access of Internet providers to the application, some do nothing, but get rich at the same time)
