i have had one of those weeks in poker. Truthfully I play mainly freerolls and small buy-ins only on-line. I have a casino with a good poker room. only two hours away and play for higher stakes only in the live venue. This week was that week we all wait and hope for at least I do. I was in the tuesday 75.00 buy in 7 stud. I'll keep it fairly short and to the point. At this particular casino in u are playing in the "weekly" tournament u qualify for the bad beat jackpot. Each week of the month it changes.Holdem-omaha hi lo-stud-stud hi lo-omaha hi- This last weeks happened to be stud. I'll start from 5th street. seat 5 has three queens on the board, seat 1 has a pair of aces and a 9, I have 6-10-jack showing we both call the bet, sixth street is a 10 to the queens- a 7 to the aces and a 9 to me, the queens bet- we both call- down and dirty on the river. the queens bet- the aces raise- I raise- they both look at me and my board and smirk -the queens cap it- the show down - seat five turns over 4 queens- seat 1 turns over 4 aces - im in seat three I turn over 4 6's We hit the bad beat jackpot!! and the queens only get a table share wow! That night of poker we all hope happens but rarely if ever does, but three sets of quads in the same hand. Don't know the odds but am sure it's probably astronomical, but anyway just wanted to share that it does haqppen but WOW:icon_sant
