I'm not a fan of this type of action! but if a person uses this device to deconcentrate his opponent it is valid! the question and when and to deconcentrate or for another matter.:shakehand

I read a book by Dan Harrington, and in it, me made a great point.

He said that when he's online, and someone is being abusive, and yapping a lot, he'll watch their chat for any clues to their hand.

He noticed, that in most cases, when they got a good hand, they suddenly fell quiet, because they went into concentration mode.

Something to look for.
