everyone loses

in texas if it was so easy not to lose money then we probably wouldnt need online poker forums to assist with getting into freerolls

i dont mind losing it but oneday soon i would like to win a decent sized prize like last week deposit of 25 and i placed in around 6 tournaments in a row to double that amount

yes i agree that brm or bankroll management is a good thing but my aim is to just win to enable me access to the higher limited tournies

for example play in a 2.20 tourny and place got get a prize and move up to a 10 + 1 buyin until i can reach the time of getting into the 1000 + 50 games

similar to the steps or satelites games because when you can master placing in tournies on a consistent basis you are surely going to be ITM more oftenly than not?

This has happened to me several times. It's hard to stop playing, so I always have something in my wallet to play with.

I suppose it would depend on a lot of things. If I managed my bankroll perfectly and never played outside of my buy in level, and lost my roll when playing .10 cent tourneys and cash games games, and the roll started at something significant like 1k. I would say I wouldnt start over a gain because that would be a clear indicator that I couldnt cut it...
But I i started with 1k and was playing $10, $20, $50 tourneys and cash games... I would probably start again if i lost my roll.
If you dont want to redeposit you can always play the freerolls and go from there!

Good Luck!

The answer is YES. Many times you play good poker, you have a premium hand and your opponents are just lucky (river). That doesnt make you a bad player and its not a reason to quit or a reason to dont start over. 'Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.' Good luck at the tables!

(Assuming you have a bankroll)

no brainer there...of course! if it becomes an issue to deposit a small amount to start again then that's another topic. going bust is part of the game even the best players go broke every now and again. handling the swings is just part of it.

Literally my entire poker career has been me losing my bankroll and then trying to start over again from scratch. I've read all the BR management guides, etc. For me, it comes down to me valuing the buyin/reward vs the amount of hours I have to trade in order to profit from said tourny/table. As I've gotten older, I value my time much more than I used to, so it just seems trivial to me to put so much time and effort in for such a little payout. Maybe this means I should just deposit more and go from there (maybe 500?) but at the same time, that troubles me knowing I might lose that much real $$...so alas...here is the big question huh? What to do...what to do...

eh if you can afford it take a shot never know it could be really worth it all it takes is the right fish sitting with you and you can make a lot of money. or on the other hand you can go bust. it is a matter of value. if the money hurts youre more likely to make smarter decisions if its nothing then you are more likely to play looser.

Yes, I've done that a lot of times, start from 0 again, I also play a lot of freerolls to avoid buying chips.

We are all different, but the goal is the same. Learn and be patient, and fortune smiles. For this we are all here.

always very disappointing to lose, but the desire to win is stronger. I will continue to play and try to learn from their mistakes.

In the past I had lost almost all my bankroll. It was a small bankroll and I lost it trying the online casino games, like blackjack, heads-up poker, roulette. After that with a few dollars remaining I rised it again and much bigger playing poker and making my first withdrawals!!

The way I see it, if you never had a bankroll you can't loose one!

Have lost my banktoll several times and always need to take a break afterwards and just play freerolls but it is all a learning experience and I will put more money down again when I feel ready. I have to say I took some really bad beats to get knocked out of tourneys but I also made some stupid mistakes to get knocked out also. There is room for improvement.

I lost my bankroll many time. But it's every time a challenge for me to growth from zero, from freerolls. Poker it's not only about money, it's like a sport. Easiest way to make deposit, but it's not my way) So lost bankroll for me it's not a problem.

I would say go with the flow " BET IT ALL, BET IT ALL" !!! :0) if your vibes are good, why not try your luck again. But if your not feeling it then of course find something else to do with that money:0)
