My idol is Phil Ivey, for his ability to play any form of poker at a high level. He may not play as well as before but he is still a respectable player

Since my beginnings as a poker player, the players that I have had the most as references in poker have been Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey, but in recent years playing online poker I have seen many more players who are very good and can also be references as are "fish2013" Mikita Badziakouski, "Trueteller" Timofey Kuznetsov and "Otb_RedBaron" Jonas Mols great players with incredible results in online and live poker.

Alex Foxen has been gaining my respect in the past couple of years but my favs will always be Ted Forest (tournament) and Tom Dwan (cash). There was a WPT final table a while back where Ted and J.J. Liu went heads-up. It was one of the best heads-up battles I've ever witnessed. Ted eventually came out on top. Fakking awesome spectacle of card-playing.
Tom's just a bad-ass. One of the best readers in the biz.
