My reply had nothing to do with you profiting/not profiting at the cash games.
You made a comment to an MTT player about them "funding" pokerstars, but all games on the site have rake, so you're funding the site just as well. Playing cash games doesn't exclude you from that.
Also, as I mentioned, if we compared a freezeout MTT vs Cash Game with similar buy-in, played for the same amount of time, the cash game is paying more in rake. Lets say both is for 4 hours.
$2 + .20 MTT is only paying .20 in rake. It's a fixed amount.
$2nl 9-max player is going to paying ~.60+ in rake in the same amount of time.
And for the record, I profit as well in MTTs, as do a lot of MTT players. Don't know if you were trying to sound exclusive in that department as well, just because you play cash games.
