Hmm... a good question and a good test for my poor memory.
The very first time I ever played poker was against computer, as a video game.
It had been running under DOS yet. And it was a 5-card draw poker. I was like 8 years old or something and thought: "Bah! What a boring card game for the old people! Better delete it right away and install some car racing or adventure game!" :hahaha:

But as I turned 20, I found another kind of poker - No Limit Hold Em. And the world of poker, as adult. And I felt in love with it and been totally fascinated from the first days, as I saw it. And it still remains over 13 years one of my biggest passion and my most favorite game indeed.

I hope, that even more people recognize, what a great game it is! And also do recognize that it's a mental sport game and not just "gambling" and pay it more respect, as they do to chess, even if they not playing it. Because poker really deserves to be respected! Long live poker!

Then, I took many years away from it, and didn't start playing until Paradise Poker, and party poker came along.
