From a very young age, poker catches my attention but it was at 30 when I was really interested and I regret that maybe today I was a great player, I lost a lot of time but it's never too late in life everything can be achieved
If I remember well I started when I was 18. This was with play money though. With freerolls and so on I could earn some coins and start from there. The poker software I used then got banned in my country and I changed to Pokerstars. I had some difficulties there to get used to the different software and I never was motivated to continue. I played with ups and downs. From this year though I got my motivation back and I played this year continuously. I hope to spend more years still in the future
I was about 10-12 when I first got a knowledge about it at a summer camp. I remember i was so amazed about it. We played through the nights, and I learned the rules of it, and the older ones sometimes could let me to win.
I was about 14 when I missed these times and had been starting to play seriously. And including some breaks, I am still loving it.
I was 19 when the poker boom happened, thats when I was hooked. Its funny how a few good runs made me feel on top of the world. But then reality hit, life happened, graduated college, got a job, got married and I still "reminisce" about the golden poker days.
But after a 10+ year hiatus from poker, we are back (hence my username)!
Hello how are you, what a question !!! I started playing more than 30 years ago sincerely do not remember how old it should have been in my adolescence, I remember that my aunt gave me a double deck of cards with very fine pirate barcor motifs
I was 25 when the poker boom started in 2003. That is when I made my first deposit on party poker. Started with play money then $50 deposit and played my first sit n go for real money.
Pretty close to same. I was 23 in 2003. Working down in FL with a group of guys from WI and we had a good share of tourneys at this large house they were living in. Around 2004 starting playing on a free site/ play site called pokerfatcat and played in tavern tourneys before finding pokerhost and absolute poker for a small bit of time.
I started trying to play poker somewhere at the age of 17 when I saw this game, then I didn’t play and started later after some time I learned the rules well and started to play normally somewhere at 25 and I started to win somewhere in random or in tournaments or somewhere in cash games, you can start playing poker at the age of 16-18, the main thing is to understand the rules and make fewer mistakes and get results from the game as a plus!
