I was 25 when the poker boom started in 2003. That is when I made my first deposit on party poker. Started with play money then $50 deposit and played my first sit n go for real money.
From a very young age, poker catches my attention but it was at 30 when I was really interested and I regret that maybe today I was a great player, I lost a lot of time but it's never too late in life everything can be achieved
I started playing poker at the age of 16 but I am forced to note that I was a big fish at that time. luckily my friends too which allowed me to win poker from the start.
If I remember well I started when I was 18. This was with play money though. With freerolls and so on I could earn some coins and start from there. The poker software I used then got banned in my country and I changed to pokerstars. I had some difficulties there to get used to the different software and I never was motivated to continue. I played with ups and downs. From this year though I got my motivation back and I played this year continuously. I hope to spend more years still in the future
I started playing poker at the age of 17 with my classmates. I gladly remember that we were meeting at a colleague's house and playing the pocket money given by parents for school , beautiful times
I started playing when I was 20. My wife's family would play tournaments at home. Normally a 5-10$ buy in. Her uncle plays alot and loved getting the family involved.
I was about 10-12 when I first got a knowledge about it at a summer camp. I remember i was so amazed about it. We played through the nights, and I learned the rules of it, and the older ones sometimes could let me to win.
I was about 14 when I missed these times and had been starting to play seriously. And including some breaks, I am still loving it.
I was 19 when the poker boom happened, thats when I was hooked. Its funny how a few good runs made me feel on top of the world. But then reality hit, life happened, graduated college, got a job, got married and I still "reminisce" about the golden poker days.
But after a 10+ year hiatus from poker, we are back (hence my username)!
