I was start playing in highschool with my classmates, instead of study we played poker with money(cash) and who win have food,drink and cigarettes that day. And after learning the rules of the game i start playing online, on pokerstars.

My cousin and I were playing the video game Red Dead Redemption and there is a part in the game where you get to play poker. We spent more time playing poker in the game then we did anything else. I fell in love with it. The very first time i played for real money was at Hollywood Casino in West Virginia. I bought into a $1/$2 game with $100 and ended up leaving with over $800. I had a big hand with ducks, that pot was around $500-$600. I hit a 2 on the flop giving me a set. It ended up being good and the feeling that i got when i scooped those chips was almost better than sex. I still get an incredible feeling whenever i win a big pot. Do you remember your first time playing poker? And do you remember the first time you won a real pot playing poker?

I started playing poker when I was 17 years old, if I remember correctly. But again it was not tournaments and not even online poker, but just friendly games at an ordinary table in the yard with friends, we played for a dollar then, who wins 5 times, he takes the main prize. Started playing in the Air Force, stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. Probably 19 or early 20. One of my first games I lost my whole paycheck. Knowing I'd catch hell when I got home, I was at a loss what to do until I saw a mailbox and tossed my wallet into it. When I got home, I told my wife I'd lost my wallet. It showed up in the mail a few days later. I opened it up in front of my wife and said, "Damn, they took all the money." Crisis averted. That was the first, and last, time I've ever lost my whole paycheck. Lesson learned.
