Omaha has a lot more action.
Omaha has a lot more tough spots to deal with.
Omaha has a lot more variance.
Omaha drives you mad and insane.
Don´t try it out 😵 if you aren´t a gambler by nature.

I think hold'em is much more interesting and stable as a game. In Omaha, you just wait for the AA/KK suite, enter the hand and watch your equity melt away against an opponent with 8642 in his hands - an inadequately strong influence of dispersion.

I like Omaha, because it is much more difficult than Texas.. you have to calculate from 4 or 5 cards, not from two! That is why it is a more complicated and thought-provoking game!

In Hold'em, if you go all-in preflop with AA and get called by KK, you will be a huge favorite to win the hand (better than 4 to 1). Essentially, with pocket aces, you will be far ahead against any hand you put in preflop. And in fact, in Hold'em there will be many situations where one hand will dominate the other. In Omaha, this will not happen; here, even the best hand will often have only 60-65% equity against the average 4-card hand.

Omaha should be the one, since theres always a flop shown and most of them ends in showdowns

Omaha getting popular in our local card room
So far it’s crazy variance. Lots of money preflop.
Usually a Straights/flushes on a non paired boards is a winning hand.
Action stops with a paired flop as players not looking to get dominated by a top boat
Top two pair or set sometimes hold but most of the time it doesn’t unless it’s becomes a full house on later streets

I love both Hold'em and Omaha, but Hold'em collected more prizes:)

Holdem Vs Omaha

Which of the two is more intense:
Texas Holdem or Omaha?

Let me know your opinion
Omaha requires more attention, Hold'em you can play many more tables at the same time online

Omaha is a more complex version of poker, in which the range of instant decisions is much higher than that of Hold'em.

Hi, Everybody! Well, what do I can to say about this question?!. If honestly, I prefer more NL Hold'em, but sometimes I play in PL Omaha... for a change!..

More intense definitely is Omaha. You can lose everything or double up very fast.

For me, Omaha is more intense. Most of the time it seems like our hand is winning, but at the end of the play the opponent has the winning hand. During plays, in Hold'em it is possible to better control the situation to know when to abandon the hand or when to continue.

I like to play different variants of poker to keep things interesting.

But to only play PLO for money would probably drive me to a nervous breakdown.

Some complain about variance, bad beats, and downswings in NLH.

The variance (and rake) in PLO is insane.

Not sure what you mean by intense but no-lime hold 'em is probably more dangerous than pot limit Omaha, and that is saying something.

Best to play in hold'em.
I like the way to play and I think most players prefer it

I think it's holdem that always has that decision you have to make pre flop

I like playing Texas Hold'em more - you only have two cards in your hand, it's harder to put combinations together, people bluff more, I have to make difficult decisions more often.

My opinion is that you need very strong nerves to play Omaha.
