Goodness me I'm amazed how few card games other people play. I played about a dozen card games before poker. (Trumps, Pontoon, Brag, Sevens, Bitch, several different patience games, Solo, 9-card Brag and more). I still play some of these when I can, plus Magic: The Gathering, Netrunner, Fluxx, Xi and many more.
