I think that many of us have gone through that ... we have lost our bankroll in one day ... it happened to me when I started in this poker ... sometimes many of us ventured to play without prior knowledge of how it should be to manage a bankroll ... and as a consequence we end up losing everything ...!

I remember the first time I tried to form a bank from scratch, when after a lot of effort I raised around 10$, I lost them by trustingly entering the Spin & Go in the hope of doubling my money

No. Please, be sure that you are mentally ready and strong enough before you do something. Recently I've heard great words (I believe it's from Ender's Game book and movie): 'You're never ready. You go when you're ready enough'.

You can't control your emotions over a game you are going to lose over & over, get it together or quit.

How can you only have 24 'Likes' on this forum? (I'm wondering how many are from me, lol). I think you have less likes than puzzledfish. Scarey :(

OP, NO! I have never lost my entire bankroll in one night. I have never lost my entire bankroll in one lifetime. I've never lost my bankroll though either... I've actually been a winning player since Day1 online (due to some luck on the very first day). It wasn't luck after that though as I became a losing player in SNG's at a rate of ~ -10% ROI. I wanted that to change a.s.a.p. so I researched what I could do to make that happen. The hard work (which I really enjoyed at the time) paid off and I went from a ROI -10% player in STT SNG to ROI +10% in STT SNG.. in a matter of ~2months. (back then you could look at my graph and see the point where I'd made a decision to get better). Part of getting better means to work on all aspects of one's game... including mental & emotional.

This has happened to me, and not just once, because I play low values I often go to everything or nothing, and I usually end up with the nothing.
I know I need to control myself a lot in this, but slowly I'm changing.

I think this is something everyone experiences at some point or another. The best thing you can ultimately do when you start feeling tilted, is too get up and away from the tables. As others have stated ITT, when you start to feel frustration it will lead to making sub optimal decisions which will lose you money in the long run. It's always best to just quit and come back later with a better mindset !

Hello, you have not gone to all, may be in cash, in a tournament, but try to avoid Tilt, what I recommend is that you rest at that time, it is better to lose little to lose everything, at another time it can be recovered. I hope you serve my advice friend. regards

It is players losing, then reloading, that keeps poker sites so profitable.

bankroll mnmgnt is oneof the biggest lessons we all need to learn. as for tilt you have to recognize it and tighten up or leave the game or loose it all

Yes of course. These are the breaks and from time to time all players go bust especially when new to the game.

If its any consilliation - I've lost about $10k playing high stakes online and let me tell you its not the best feeling. Nonetheless I look forward to the next day

:)

IDK, maybe I lost it once in one day.

Seriously, though, If by the loss of our "entire" bankroll you mean I dropped to $0, no, I have never lost it all :p

unfortunately I have a serious problem with tilt has days that in the cash game I end up with all my bank
I have the same issue most of the time. Back in the day when I was just starting out on stars(pre-black friday) I ran a bankroll of $50 into almost $1900 in a matter of 1 week. It took me one night of getting beat in absolute sick ways before I had my whole bankroll on the table at like 3am trying to chase those losses. I had no business playing 1000NL and I was tilted into the next dimension. I paid dearly for that...

i see some pro guy on the YouTube advising to deposit smalls amounts of money(like 5-10 box) until you manage to get to 500 them you pass to next level,is a good idea because if you louse u dont louse too much and you practice at the micro region until you get familiar with.
