I don't know it just seems weird to only make 1 video. If you are making one video it's not going to do much in terms of advertising etc. You need multiple videos. Also it seems as the video is to promote cardschat as a place to learn to play the game but the video is just bleh and doesn't focus on learning the game etc so your not exactly getting your message across unless someone waits for the last 5 seconds of the video.

Granted I could be wrong and the video was just an attempt at humour that went way over my head but I just don't see why cardschat would make a video that isn't aimed at promoting cardschat.

I just don't get the purpose.

This is pretty awesome, But do you think anyone would really be ballsy enough to them now-a-days? The gambling laws have always restricted against such cheating devices, and the laws are Stricter now, more than ever..

And 1 other thing. Where was this shot at? it looks like a little casino inside of a vault or something like that.. and that's pretty freakin sweet! If i ever win the lottery I'm soo getting me one of these.

I think it is just supposed to be a funny video and not meant to be a real advertisement, because it's 4 minutes long and most people won't watch the whole thing.

Then remove the tags at the end. Disassociate yourself with the video.

Then explain the point

Just putting a little humor out there.

It was obviously not an attempt to promote learning how to play poker, strategy, etc. :p

I must say that video was pretty funny....Thanks once again for it...So over all what did you all think about the glasses, any thoughts on them?

I honestly couldn't make out what you thought about it in the video (lmao, I still can't forget the electrocution in the end)...,

Video wise (excellent)
review wise (I have no clue)

Kinda with marg, I felt disappointed haha.

Obviously an early april fool marg. Realistically we couldn't really expect a "real" video of something liek this, even technology of todays standards wouldn't be able to filter through such real life poker activities into some sick HUD or odds calculator lol.

As for the video though...I mean, it's like lol funny/bad lol. Not sure if the acting was supposed to be so dam awful to make it funny or if these people was genuinely acting lol, either way it was shocking. I thought the dealer played a good part though, looked & played like a real dealer haha.

However all that said, there was some daft humor in it i guess which was kinda funny, maybe it's aimed more at the americans/canadians as I didn't really find it all that funny but I see most americans/canadians comments - they did so it can't be a bad thing.

maybe I'm just a miserable sod. :(

Amazing timing, this. Naive me had never heard of Google Glasses (really!) until read the Tweet this morning, and then this CC thread. Now I'm starting to read a book I got Friday, new novel: "The Utopia Experiment," by Kyle Mills continuing a Robert Ludlum series. The book deals with the potential of Augmented Reality ... and the next step beyond Google Glasses (book's words). What a world...

I thought the video was hilarious!!! A sublime parody. I'm still laughing. The setting is perfect--underground high stakes game, indeed--as are the characters.

And I can still feel our guy's highly unfortunate and very unlucky electronically induced partial paralysis. Damn payment plans. :D

Probably won't be allowed in a majority of casinos. At my local casino, you can't take pictures or use your phone at the poker table.
