Mid-week 1 Update:

Hey guys. This is an OFFICIAL UPDATE. You can tell because I'm capitalizing the beginning of sentences. This is so f**king official right now.

So I'm behind pace on # of hands but feeling pretty good about my game. I'm still trying to practice good table selection and playing when I feel refreshed, which has definitely cut into hand quantity, but ought to be the best thing for my win rate overall. Also I got a 92% on my Anthropological Perspective exam today!

Here's the up-to-date graph:

Hey very nice job on the win rate so far. A slight increase in hands played wouldn't do any harm but that's something you can measure more accurately in the coming days.
Well done on your exam result too.

Good job on the exam, and the winnings are looking good. Keep grinding on the hand rate.

I should update too. I noted your suggestion Rex but then the thread got really busy so I thought maybe it didn't need it. Still an option though.

Update: Week 1 complete

Since February started on a Sunday, it's now been seven days, one week, half a fortnight, or exactly 1/4 the duration of this bet. As you'll see from my graph at the bottom, I'm a bit off the pace on number of hands, even though I put in another 3k today. I'm guessing I'll continue a pattern of falling behind during the weekdays when I have class/schoolwork and trying to play catch-up on the weekends.

The poker itself is going as well as I could hope. I haven't gotten into too many full-stacked all-in confrontations lately. The hands just haven't been setting up that way. But I've been winning a decent number of medium-sized pots to grind out a steady profit. It's a lot different from how the start went, but the lowered variance has been nice.

A few fun hands:
