Families don't understand and it's actually understandable, most of us have to live with it.

If you want to make money, its going to take up most your time. Its sort of like, either married to your girl or married to your career. Hard to mix both as both suffer. If i were young, ID MARRIED THAT CAREER FASTER THAN ANYTHING, esp something like poker

my family don t like anythink that has to do with cards and gammbling. but...they respekt my hobby and i am happy about it.

my family thinks I should stop playing almost all, but, I don't want to... most of them say if I even win big then I am going to loose on the long run twice or more of what I have won. very few in my family that I get support from, they just don't think is a good way to make money.

Be balanced play but do not let the game dominate you, otherwise you end up forgetting the family and many other things.

Well, years and years ago my mom was casino addicted. She played slots machines. That was bad habit for her, we were usually broke. But i don't think i got my poker "addiction" from my mom. I just found out about poker when i was like 16 or so. I tried poker on my brother account and i started to like this game. Since then iv'e been playing poker on-off for 10+ years. My family (mom, brother and sisters) know i play poker and they are not against it, because they know my dreams on poker.

Well, here in my house, my wife's uncle lost everything he had playing poker in obscure ghettos, but you have to be told that he has a tendency to addictions, because besides gambling, he drinks and smokes a lot. My wife is worried about me and she is afraid that I will go that way.

2)have a budget that is not involving bills ,if you do not have it do not spend it .

Hi.
Sometimes my girlfriend is offended when I play poker for too long. Therefore, I always try to find a compromise that will suit both of us. But honestly, I think that the family should always be in the first place.

Playing poker takes time. If this does not bring income, then you can not sit at the computer for a long time - children and spouse will suffer from this! I am a single woman - a lot of free time! Enjoying the game! If there was a family, I would not play!
