Read some of the threads here on proper bank roll management & follow the advice. You also need to work on your attitude, playing scared does not work. A conservative, cautious attitude is fine, if you are comfortable with that approach but, playing scared, or not to lose is a quick road to blowing your roll.

BRM is the best option. That or withdraw and never play again.

Well, don't change anything you've done so far :), don't go to high stakes, play the same buy-ins as before or the same stakes:)

Easiest way to string out the bankroll is to stick with the lowest stake games. Don't shove it all in to a high stake tourney, expecting to win even more (although it sounds as though that's hardly likely to be your decision).

As others here have mentioned, there is some good resources available on the site around bankroll management that is well worth a read up on.

well i would tell you to study something called bankroll management, or to simplify it take your money and divide it into 100 equal parts, don't play more than one part at a time or one percent and your money will tend to last longer :D

I think that best option for the beginner is to play tournaments with small buy in and also freerolls.I play knockout tournaments for buy in only I think that they are best because you are earning some of the money even when you just knockout some of the player. Many times I knockout many players so I think that this type of tournaments are the best.

If you not sure about your poker skills, maybe better just to play freerolls or play small buy-ins and some promotion tournaments. Right now lots of promotions, freerolls in the lobby, lots of streamers who giveaway money/tickets and so on. You also can cashour your money at any time and you can spend it on some things and buy something.

Fear of losing money is normal. But you should not be afraid of it. If you follow the bankroll management, your bankroll is safe. :)

Nobody wants to lose their money, but if you want to win, you need to invest money and take risks and hope for success, although there are players who make money on freerolls.

I was finally rewarded won good money in a community tournament just don’t won’t to loose it in no time ! Could somebody help me what would be the best way to make my account money last a little while ? Don’t want to make big money just at least win some loose some !

What variation are you good at?

Do you know what your game is?

The ideal is to play with 100 buy ins.

Studying the basics, you will find these answers!

Good luck!!

play a strict buy-in, 100x what you have let's say you have 110$ you have enough for 100x 1.10 tournaments once you build up you can up your stake, when you balance goes lower, change the stake and so on

also try to avoid tilting and anything if it's an off day just play the next day or take a couple days of break.
and take it serious if you want to succeed

I won yesterday and immediately lost 5 dollars (((I think it's best to play free tournaments. Raise your level of play, and then start playing with small money

Hi all
If I don't have enough $ on my account, then I only play MTT $1-$2, you won't lose much, but the game continues

I would suggest to continue playing freerolls until you get your confidence up a bit.

If your going into a game with the mindset that you are going to lose or afraid to lose your money its not a good headspace to be in.

Maybe get your bankroll amount up to where you feel comfortable enough to play that if you do lose its not as bad and you wont get put into a tilting situation.

Good luck at that tables.

I would say to you set a goal of how much money you can lose daily and have discipline to follow this limit. Also, keep playing freerolls to build a bigger bankroll than you can play more comfortable.

I recently had a sensational week, I won 2 tournaments with good payouts and before I knew it I didn't have a penny left to play.
So I can tell you, don't play tournaments over your bankroll.
the good thing is that you don't want to spend it soon, with that premise you could play mtt of $1.10 a day and you can play for a long time

It all depends on how much good money you won. Depending on your strengths and preferences: open table games, SNGs, tournaments, if you won a hundred then get into $1.00 buy in games. If you won $200 then $2.00 buy in games. You get the drift. Some may think a 100 to 1 ratio on stake compared to buy-ins to be a bit conservative, but I typically play in $50 buy-in triple up SNGs (my best game for % of return) with a 300 to 1 ratio. That's a $15,000 stake I play with. Started with this conservative philosophy years ago with $1.00 buy-in games and have never come close to losing my stake, and I've experienced many bad beat losing streaks. Eventually it will happen, maybe in ten lifetimes, or maybe this lifetime, but this is the strategy I recommend if you want to maximize pleasure and minimize risk.

If you play small tournaments, then you will have the time and money to relax at the gaming tables, and maybe some winnings will come from there.
