I trust, I like to play online. The important thing is to choose a reputable and established online poker site that is licensed and regulated.

I love the convenience of playing online. Playing in a live trny is a different experience unto itself though; by comparison, that is.
It's like the difference between eating at home or dining out. Microwaved or outdoor grilled. Fishing for bluegill or fishing for black bass. Blowup doll or...
I think I made my point.

There are lots of reasons to prefer either live poker or online poker, which has nothing to do with not trusting one or the other. Its a bit like asking someone "Did you stop beating your wife and kids?" and only accept a yes or no answer. Like if its obvious, that he was beating his wife or kids, even you have no proof of this. Legit reasons to prefer live poker include:
  • Direct social interaction with other human beings
  • The experience of going to a casino or home game
  • The ability to use live reads to your advantage
  • Games are often way softer than online
Legit reasons to prefer online poker include:
  • The convenience of playing from your home
  • The ability to multitable
  • Games are always running
  • The option to play for far less money
  • No cost for transportation or expensive food/drinks
Personally I play online, but I can completely understand, why some might prefer live poker.

I even trust online poker, but I certainly trust the live table game more because I'm seeing the cards in my opponents' hands and their way of playing.
For me, online poker will always be a priority over live poker, since playing an adequate distance in offline poker is just unreal. + A very big advantage of online poker is the ability to select tables with weak players.
But on the other hand, depending on what is meant by your question. If it's just interest, then yes, I would like to play some kind of main event in my life once!

It doesn't really come down to trusting the Poker Site, for me I personally don't trust the Hardware, like Internet connection and computer even the Electrical grid, can fail at any point and cause you to lose money by shutting the game down.
Things like that don't happen at a live game, and even if they did I would still get my money back from a Casino if the Power went out. There are way too many things that are out of your control that could cause you to lose a game when playing On-line, I have been in some situations where I have lost connection while playing a crucial hand and it has cost me the game simply because I have not been able to click on the Call button.
There has been times when my opponent loses connection in a heads-up game and I only have to raise every hand to take the pot and eventually the game, Profitable for me but not the way I like to Win!

I enjoy both see fundiver199 lists above why.

I do prefer live a bit more as I enjoy the social interaction and being a bit better then avg with live reads gives me more of an advantage over playing online. Also while I'm always mostly easy going, fun and friendly while at the table I don't mind handling and taking on the seemingly always one loud mouth, rude and arrogant POS that is always around and likes to verbal abuse and bully the table.

Cheers!!!

I prefer to play live. Unfortunately, this is not possible now, so I play online at pokerstars and this site is trustworthy.

I personally prefer to play live at the table because it allows me to observe my opponents body language and make better reads. However, I also trust online poker as long as I choose a reputable site

It's safer to play live, weird things happen in online poker.

Even in live clubs you can cheat if you're not aware of everything better not to go. Human being has those of good honesty and the cheaters, complicated. If there are cheats better stay out.

I really like playing live poker, it's something different that has a lot more adrenaline. It's something unique and special. Online I got used to playing in a pandemic but if I had both options on the table I would choose to play live.

There are more bad players online. Online, you don't have to look into the eyes of your players and sit across from them face to face. Offline, players are more responsible for their game, because opponents will immediately understand what kind of player you are and what to expect from you.

Even if there is a poker club near your home, you need to take a shower, get dressed, go outside to start playing. Play online at home you can in what the mother gave birth to.

I play online, only online, and generally I trust the sites I play on. For all the time, and I have been playing poker for more than 6 years, I have never had any problems with my funds and their withdrawal.

No. I do not trust online poker at all.. think about where technology has come and gone and here we are. Algorithms can be manipulated and there’s no doubt in my mind that poker sites are heavily involved

There is currently no way to play offline poker, I play online all the time. Taking this into account, we have to trust artificial intelligence, although sometimes there are doubts about the honesty of the game, but let's be frank - there are incredible bad beats both in live poker and online.
