Do you play poker every day or take time to rest during the week/month?

I play when there is free time, my main job is a trucker, I play on the tablet when loading and unloading loads, on the way when I rest.

I am not a schedule person, so unless there is a specific online tournament that I intend to play, I usually only play when I am feeling good, feeling sharp, and feel like playing poker.

Right now for instance, there was a live game that I usually play, but I am not feeling into it tonight, and I haven't played online in a few days. Then there are times when I am feeling good and I could play all day for 2 or 3 days in a row and the only thing that keeps me off the online tables are live games.

the Holidays are screwing around with my schedule, and like I said I have not been feeling the best lately. But I am staying well read, keeping up on the forums and watching videos, so when that poker fire starts to burn I'm ready to rock.

Usually I rest for a few weeks in between periods where I play and that ''period'' could be 2 days or weeks - just depends on if it coincides with a shitty session that was emotionally draining - for example.

I like to play freeroll after work during business days but rarely play more than 3 days as i also like to see friends after work. At saturday or sunday i sometimes play poker if i am not bsy going to football game.

You should always take time off to lead a balanced life. Be social, spend time with family and friends, go for a walk or a drive, go to the beach. No matter whether you play full time or part time, you should always take days off. Playing every day is not healthy.
